Denise's donuts & cookies — Restaurant in Rennes

unfriendly staff, we went there and we were walking into the shop we were talking and might not catch a greeting from the cashier which in french and it’s not our first language after that while we choosing our donuts that cashier suddenly said “you should say hello back when I say hello to you it’s not polite” in english and we were a bit confused why she said that but i goes “oh sorry I might not heard your hello and it’s not my language maybe I don’t understand” then she goes “then you can just say you not understand” I was??? if you don’t understand the language how could you know that the person was talking to you? if you not understand at the first place? I don’t know who she think she is? a young gen z cashier that thought she could teach everyone how they should respond to her greeting? and sorry if I didnt catch her “hello” in the language that I do not understand.

11feb2022 To reply to the store ; I don’t even know why you’re said that I been there for several months? like excuse me? that was my first and last also to said “I was coming to your store several months” it’s might be a wrong customer? and this it’s sound like you’re blaming and gaining sympathy? that’s funny and without politeness? oh really? I thought I mentioned clearly that I didn’t catch it at the beginning and ofc your STAFF was speaking english but it was right after we didnt heard her greeting in OTHER LANGUAGES THAT WE DO NOT UNDERSTAND. if you want respect first thing first to do to train your staff well enough to not say that to customers and whoever that said we went there for several months since...

Plusieurs boissons peuvent accompagner votre donuts, bubble tea, thé glacé. Vous avez une terrasse pour vous restaurer en face. Le personnel est très sympa et accueillant. L'entreprise s'engage dans une démarche anti-gaspi avec nottament avec les paniers too good to go. Pour ce qui est des donuts, la pâte est moelleuse et très agréable.
