We had reserved a table at one of the ocean-side windows - when we arrived on time we were given a table in the center of the restaurant - we had misunderstood the confirmation of our reservation we were told so don’t trust the window-seating promise… When two semi-posh imitations of Paris Hilton arrived at the last window-table we understood who had gotten our table. Now concerning the food: the creme brûlée was excellent - the best of the meal so I start with desert. The oysters were OK - given the vicinity of Cancale more than provided by the restaurant could be expected - as we experienced the next day in Cancale. The Carré d‘ Agneau was Ok too - it was done a farmer‘s way not really improved by herbs or spices. A sharp knife would have helped from the start b.t.w. :-) My wife had the entree of the 68€ menu - the 1/2 crab and the langoustines were dry/old. The Risotto de Homard was an insult to all Breton lobsters - the rice was cooked separately so it wasn’t a real risotto and the lobster was dry as the langoustines were- and fit on a spoon. The red housewine we can recommend - the Muscadet and many other things you find a lot better in a restaurant called „Fidelis“ in the old town of Saint Malo. Now what got us the most disappointed: the arrogant behavior of the management ( never seen such an unempathetic lady before in my professional life) - we e. g. got the bill after the entree, but instead of apologizing for this blunder the chief waiter just walked away - instead our waiter apologized probably because he felt ashamed of the behavior of his superior. Anyway: This place is a food-machine like a McDonalds - only too expensive, with an impressive but overrated menu and unfriendly personell at the top -...

It pains me to say that I will never return to this restaurant. It was one of my favourites, and therefore, I booked a table for the evening of a significant birthday and reserved the table months in advance, and coordinated our trip around the visit. When we arrived, we were presented with a table on a corridor . I asked for a window table, and this was refused because all the window tables were reserved before I made my booking. I explained that my reservation was made over two months earlier. When I said loudly I wasn't happy and started to discuss that we should walk out, the restaurant decided I could have a window table. Although the food was good, we were made to feel very unwelcome and were the last to be served. It was noticeable that all other diners after us were walk-in. Even they complained about the table we had been offered. Also, when the second sitting started, diners still continued to complain about the table we rejected, a...

Nice restaurant at Sillon Beach in St. Malo. We were there at a bank holiday weekend around 4pm, the restaurant seemed empty inside but the outdoor area was quite nice, with 1 family and another couple.

A little bit on the pricey side, which is understandable given the location. We ordered oysters, they were really fresh, to drink I had a passion fruit mojito (amazing!!) and my husband ordered a blonde beer, which seems stronger than the average blonde, maybe because it was crafted.

The lad who served us was great, very polite and patient with our little French skills. He seemed to be alone during that time because he took a long time to take and bring our order, however this didn’t bother us too much as we were enjoying the sun and the view. The outdoor terrace is perfect, facing the beach, great place to relax while enjoying great cocktails.

Would definitely recommend this place during summer for cocktails and...

I came late, near closing time. I was pretty much ignored by the waitstaff rushing about, but was able to get a table. After a wait, i got the menus - the wine list is impressive, a massive book organized very well. The food was mediocre: i had the Chateaubriand that was large but chewy and the sauce it was swimming in was pretty tasteless. It came with fries, which were soggy, lukewarm and clearly not freshly made. Haphazard plating with no excellence. The service was a bit chaotic, i think i eventually interacted with 3 or 4 different persons. Seemed like a touristy seafront place for large groups. As i was leaving, the servers were still bringing in replacement dishes for customers who had complaints, although the place had officially closed. Not a good experience.

Right on the beach of Saint Malo you got this lovely restaurant offering a warm environment . Wide choices on the menu starting from seafood boards, soup, foie gras ecc ecc; I've personally tried the seafood soup and lamb. The soup was fairly good ,served with tipical croutons, cheese and sauce unfortunately it was bit cold while the presalè(lamb) which also was the suggestion of the chef supposed to be the main character unluckily was bit disappointing. Anyway reasonably approachable especially for families. Service could be improved although there were nice. Another masterpiece is the wine list of course offers all the regional wine and not. After all it was relatively pleasant I'd love to come back.
