We were first to sit down in yet empty restaurant, as we thought let's give it a chance. Owner welcomed us kindly (can not say that for a waitress). After clearly explaining the waitress that we had trouble understanding her french (both of us speak fluently english and italian), she continued talking in french with us. I said ok no biggie. Orderd food and drinks, she started smirking as we ordered in english, I could bately finish my order she was already running away from the tale lime as she was scared of us. Called her again for an ashtray. Called her again for a sparkling water, the she started rolling her eyes. When our apetizer came she went out taking a photo of a sunset, totally ignoring us when i tried to call her to bring us some plates for starters. We fibished the main course and waited around 20 min for her to aknowladge me and take out the plates and bring us the bill. We were drink ing white wine on glass (8e per glass, of course). Restaurant had nice ambient, good live music, overall great place, but the waitress is killing that business. Please do find another job, this one is clearly too...
Read moreThe service was quick to give us a table and take our order. What really ruined the dinner was that I had pieces of glass in my dessert and cut my tongue on them. After telling to the waitress she said it probably was a faux-pas in the kitchen so she offered me a free drink and a new bowl of ice cream. Then she realized more tables complained about glass in their ice cream so she quickly took that away again, all that was offered to us was to take our drinks off the bill. That’s it. Upon paying with card the owner of restaurant (presumably) was rude to my boyfriend when his card would not work the first time, and acted like he probably did not want to pay / showed up with a broken card. This was an overall bad experience. The waiters did all they possibly could I guess so no blame on them, but the owner is not very responsible or service oriented. I do not recommend this restaurant. Overall taste of the food was good besides the problematic dessert but we both had stomach problems later on which leads us to believe the fish may have not been that...

Absolute madness. Went to LeFondago for lunch, ordered a bottle of wine, and after 15 bloody minutes—nothing. I politely reminded the waitress, who was busy with a payment at another table. And what do I get? She starts a verbal boxing match, claiming I was rude for reminding her. Unbelievable.
When I calmly explained I was just asking about the wine, she raises her voice and says she knows "clients like me" who think the client is king. Well, guess what? Clients ARE king! So I told her to finish what she was doing and then check on my wine. And yes, I did mention that with her attitude, she could kiss her tip goodbye.
Instead of sorting it out, she just kept arguing and stormed off. Pathetic.
Thankfully, the owner had some sense, stepped in, and gave us proper service. The food is good, but with staff like that, it drags the whole place down. Sort your staff out, or you’ll ruin the reputation of what could be a...
