Nestled in the heart of Morzine, L'Improviste wood burning oven Pizza offers a slice of Neapolitan heaven that's hard to match. From the moment you walk in, the aroma of wood-fired dough sets the stage for a culinary experience like no other.
The pizza here is simply outstanding. The crust achieves that perfect balance of crispness and chewiness, thanks to the wood-fired oven's expert touch. Topped with fresh ingredients and authentic flavors, each bite is a revelation. In fact, I dare say it's the best Neapolitan pizza I've ever had. And I've had the original one in Naples.
But what truly sets this place apart is the service. The staff is attentive and friendly, making you feel right at home from the moment you arrive. We had a reservation for 10 and unfortunately only 4 of us could make it. They were not too disappointed as the rest of the table quickly filled up with waiting patrons. I do recommend making a reservation by calling them.
Overall, L'Improviste is a must-visit for pizza enthusiasts. I know it sounds weird going to pizza while in the French Alps, but believe me you will not be disappointed. With its delicious pies and attentive service, it's a Neapolitan gem that's sure to leave you...
Read moreWent yesterday. Pizzas are proper Neapolitan style with great cornicione and soft/crunchy bases. Toppings are generous and great quality. Pizzas themselves are a generous size. Also get pizza shears which is great!
Desserts also great. The Nutella dessert pizza could probably easily feed 3. Prices are really good and tbh better value than most other places in Morzine or Avoriaz.
Staff there were great. Service insanely quick as you would expect from proper Neapolitan pizzas!
Am sad I'm not gonna get the chance to go again this trip. Pizzas are on a level with those in Naples. You won't be...

Honestly the best meal I’ve had in Morzine this year and I’ll say the best value for money as well. Other places are clearly adding a “tourist tax” and don’t car about the food, or the service, becoming “expectant” of a tip for an average dining out experience.
The food was amazing, the service could be better, but it certainly wasn’t bad. Just could’ve been better. Atmosphere could also increase for...
