Chalet Morzine Ski in Ski out luxury chalet, central Morzine, French Alps — Local services in Thonon-les-Bains

We have stayed twice with Lindsey and Thierry at Chalet Morzine. It is a fabulous family chalet in a great location. My wife and I rented it for skiing holidays with my 3 children along with spouses and grandchildren. The bedrooms were all comfortable and well appointed. There was plenty of space to accommodate all of us. We had outside caterers for one night of each week but otherwise cooked for ourselves. The kitchen has everything we needed and the dining and seating areas are spacious with fabulous views down the valley towards Avoriaz. There is also a games room for the children and ample storage and drying for boots and ski clothes. The location is excellent being only a short walk to the ski lifts and the centre of Morzine with all its shops and restaurants. In the right conditions it's even possible to ski back to the chalet from the Pleney side. Lindsey and Thierry are excellent hosts and can help with anything from airport transfers to ski hire. We drove out and there is parking at the chalet. Lindsey was very helpful with the arrangements and it was reassuring to be able to speak to her on the phone before we made our first booking. I would not hesitate to go back there as a family in the winter or summer. It is a great chalet in a resort...

Brilliant place, very clean with well proportioned rooms and a lovely area to wind down for the evening. Enough sofas for everyone in the group, with a big long table for evenings meals and drinks. High chairs, children's cutlery, toys and pram are available at the chalet which is an absolute bonus!!

The hot tub is absolutely fantastic especially after a full day of skiing, all set up ready for you to use once you land.

Location wise, you can potentially ski to the slopes if you are a competent skier otherwise it's a short walk to the morzine side ski lift. The avoriaz lift is further away, can either walk or catch the train there. Be warned, it is a steep walk up to the chalet but after a day or two you get use to it. We had two small children with us, one in a pram, so we have taken a star off that for the location as I just wasn't strong enough to carry one child and push the other!

Would not hesitate to go back here in the future when the kids are older. For anyone without very young kids, don't hesitate to book here! Owners are super super lovely which made the stay/group organisation much...

Our group loved our stay at the conveniently named Chalet Morzine, in the stunning setting of Morzine. The chalet is perfect for groups or families, the rooms and facilities were lovely and the hot tub especially was a big hit (particularly in the rain/snow). The location feels peaceful and tucked away, yet it’s still really close to town/amenities. Very easy to get to Pleney and Super Morzine ski lifts.
