Maybe a 3.5 rather than a 3, but not a 4. The good thing about the hotel is principally location. Right at the bottom of the Pleney lift and bang in the centre of town it is perfectly placed for the Les Gets side of the valley, and 5 minutes walk from the Avoriaz lifts. It is next to some great restaurants and bars and the ski hire shops are only a few minutes walk away. ||It has its own ski/boot storage room so there is no need to trudge back to the ski hire shop to drop things off and collect the next day.||The reception staff are lovely, really friendly and very helpful. ||The not so good, and the difference between a very good or excellent rating: the building is stuck in the 70's. It is tired and needs a refurb. My room had only two plug sockets, one in the bathroom and one in the bedroom. I did eventually find an extension socket but not until I was about to leave. ||The breakfast was mainly very good, but the salle à manger staff were a miserable bunch. Often very slow to top up the empty serving dishes, and frequently berating us for not putting our plates on a tray!||The wifi was dreadful. There was a signal in the reception, and there was a sweet spot at the top of the stairs on the first floor, but the signal in my second floor room was non existent. That was fine but for the fact my new phone had not been enabled for 4G/5G roaming (another review about O2 elsewhere). So I had no data to pick up emails or messages for the whole stay unless I sat on the stairs or in reception.||The water was unpredictable. A few of us had a 12 hour sickness (shivering/shaking/cold cold flushes/diarrhoea/vomiting). Whilst it cannot definitely be attributed to the hotel, we all ate different food that day, drank only bottled water elsewhere, and the hotel water was brown and cloudy on one occasion, so I am not pointing the finger here, but watch the tap water.||It didn't bother me particularly, and I was well aware before I went, but the hotel hosts a massive aprés bar with thumping music and noise. If you want tranquility this place may not deliver. It did not cause any issues as I wasn't in the room at that time, but if you have small children it may put you off. Or you like early nights.||All in all, I would stay here again but not if something at a better price was available within a few...

My recent stay at Hotel Tremplin was, without a doubt, the highlight of my summer travels this year. The level of service and attention to detail I experienced here was unparalleled, making it a truly unforgettable experience.
I must extend a special mention to Audrey, Alejandra, and Alexis, whose dedication and exceptional service truly made my stay stress-free. They went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of my visit was perfect, from providing helpful local insights to promptly addressing any requests I had. Their professionalism and friendliness left a lasting impression, and I'm truly grateful for their efforts.
The breakfast at Hotel Tremplin was nothing short of fantastic. A delicious and varied selection of food set in a charming atmosphere was the perfect way to start each day of my stay. It's evident that the hotel takes great pride in providing a top-notch culinary experience for its guests.
The location of the hotel is equally impressive. Situated in a prime spot, it allowed me easy access to everything I wanted to explore in the area. Being in the heart of the action made my stay all the more enjoyable.
While it's worth noting that the hotel is currently being demolished to make way for the new, I have no doubt that with the exceptional quality of staff like Audrey, Alejandra, and Alexis, Hotel Tremplin is poised to become one of the best hotels in Morzine. I eagerly anticipate returning to experience the transformed hotel and the continued warmth and...
