My family stayed here on a half board rate over Xmas week for our first skiing trip. The hotel service was impeccable. We took a family room with a mezzanine floor so kids had their own space. The hotel provided ski lockers free of charge. The restaurant was very accommodating of my family's needs with menu changes made (one pescatarian and two picky kids). The breakfast was filling with fresh pastries/cakes and omelets and the evening set menu each night was amazing. Special shout out to Emelie (restaurant manager). The jacuzzi/sauna/steam room was much needed after a day's skiing. The location was ideal. Walking distance to pleney and super morzine ski lifts and opposite the bus stop to catch Bus A to procleau (Avoriaz). The little square had lots of cute shops and a Christmas feel. The local restaurants had lots of evening menu offers but we didn't venture out due to us being on half board Would definitely recommend this hotel for a break from the busy Avoriaz apres ski but close enough to have a vibe! #handy tip. Shared transfers from geneva stop outside the hotel which saved us over 100Euro on a private taxi!!

We have consistently rented out catered chalets for the week with big groups of 20 of us. However with Covid and the current times, there were only 4 of us prepared to travel so we decided against our usual practice and opted for a hotel. Hotel Le Samoyede certainly didn’t disappoint. The food was incredible and it was fine dining every night. This was a massive positive during our stay but probably the most enjoyable factor was the amazing owners and staff. From the top to the bottom, everyone was super pleasant and professional and we all have booked our return trip next year. Highly recommend this hotel

I absolutely love this hotel. The staff are amazingly hospitable and professional. The hotel is gorgeous and clean. Our room was very nicely appointed and comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was varied and eating out on the terrace at the back you really can’t believe that you’re in the absolute centre of Morzine. It is so tranquil. We’ve been frequenting the bar and bistrot for a couple of years now and can’t fault anything. The food is delicious and the service is unflustered even when they’re really busy. Thank you to the whole team for making our birthday weekend special.

Le Samoyede is a traditional and expensive hotel, with a very good location (being this the only one that fits in the category 4 stars, although it is far from justifying its price) and very good food at night. However, the breakfast is almost basic, it does not respond to the category that supposes to have, nor to its price. The rooms have an old decoration, since the reform has only reached the outer door of them. The day I arrived the bathtub and its shower did not work (which I find unacceptable when you pay almost 300 euros a night), so I had to take my bath in the basement where the sauna was, with the consequent transfer. After that , I was expecting that the hotel had an attention for me because of this mishap , however not only they did not offer me any compensation (as it would any establishment of this category ), but the owner refused to give me a discount when I requested it, while I was fully entitled to do so, since they did not provide me the services I paid for. The TV in the room was a simple 22 " computer screen, unusual in a 4-star hotel !! Obviously it was impossible to watch television from the bed with such a minimal screen, so I requested that they change it, and replaced it with a 24 "screen, in which It could not be seen either. The staff was friendly, but that did not cover the faults and shortcomings in the background. The hotel is completely overvalued for its price, I perceived pettiness in services and facilities, its category is 3 stars and not 4 as they charge. The quality / price ratio is very disappointing

My husband and I spent our honeymoon at the hotel Samoyede and we had a perfect and wonderful stay. The hotel itself is charming and perfectly clean. The decor is beautiful and thoughtful down to the last detail. Our room was well appointed, comfortable, and clean. The housekeeping staff came daily while we were at breakfast so we came home to a made up room before going skiing. The breakfast was PERFECT!!! So delicious with the selection of the day, a made to order omelet, and the full buffet of options like eggs, cheese, fruits, meats, breads, cereals, and the best yogurt I’ve ever had in my life. The ski room was easy to access and secure and also quite lovely. After a long day on the slopes (gondolas only about a 2-3 min walk to get to either Morzine or Avoriaz) the spa was lovely before dinner (although I wish the hot tub was a bit hotter). Then dinner, oh my god, the food was so outstanding. Perfect portions, thoughtfully prepared and perfectly executed French delicacies. WOW!!!! And the dinner wait staff were so lovely always with great wine recommendations and smiles. I cannot recommend this hotel enough. It was the best hotel experience I have had in my...

It's not often you stay somewhere which is better than the pictures. Firstly the staff are amazing, they couldn't do enough for us. The evening meal is simply delicious and the waiting staff such lovely friendly people while also being very professional. The wine list in the restaurant is extensive with price options to suit all and expert guidance from the waiting staff. The rooms are very comfortable, I had a single room which was cozy but laid out in a very practical way to make the most of the space. My friends had a double room which was a good size and also very comfortable, all the rooms seemed recently decorated / well maintained. The hotel is located about halfway between the two Gondolas that take you up to Morzine/Les Gets and Avoriaz, each only a short walk (~5 mins). It's in a really nice location in the middle of the town, right next to the town square which is surrounded by pleasant bars and restaurants. The hotel bar is also very nice where you can sit outside and watch the world go by. We had such an amazing stay with some great skiing too, I would highly recommend a visit to Morzine and to Hotel Le Samoyede. Thank you for making our...
