Au Bon Coin — Restaurant in Thonon-les-Bains

Edit 2 years later - came back for the same race, and had to check this place out. Same excellent burgers, but the restaurant has been renovated. Great vibe, comfortable, and an expanded menu which I didn't try because I just had to have the burgers and waffles again (still amazing). The staff are really the incredible. So friendly and accommodating - this time also with our baby and making room so we could watch a game on one of the two TVs. Certainly my favorite place in Morzine and a must visit if you are here.

Previous - This place was so good, we ate here three times. We were in town for the Spartan races, and after each race we try to find a big burger to celebrate. This place delivered. A great little place with a very friendly vibe and delicious homemade burgers in a scrummy light brioche bun... and very good waffles!! The owners have taken advantage of the quieter time of the pandemic to do a fantastic expansion and refurbishment of the old Burger Place and even added a new name ... Au Bon Coin.. Great spot in the centre of Morzine near the Pleney lift. We enjoyed an evening dinner here as a last minute option for 8 of us and were able to grab a table. They were helpful and accommodating.
