Market House Deli — Restaurant in Torcy

This is a cafe that is themed like a 60's American general store and the deco is nice. They serve mickey mouse themed doughnuts, cookies and some other snacks / sweets. They also had sandwiches in mickey mouse shaped pretzel buns. The only two hot options they had when I went were croque monsieur - a ham one and a turkey one. If I remember correctly they also had salad boxes but I didn't try. They have the usual soft drinks and tea, coffee, hot chocolate. We ordered coffee and hot chocolate, they can in plastic cups that were half filled, I felt short changed.

They have indoor and outdoor seating, but it was a cold morning so we sat inside.

This little American style sandwich restaurant is situated on the main street of Disneyland Paris. Everything is self-serve, so you need to head to the deli cases by grabbing a tray and proceed around the corner to the cash register for fountain beverages or coffee. I eat only halal food and this place has a good selection of vegetarian meal. We had taken tomato & rocket salad bruschetta, Grilled vegetable sandwiches, chocolate muffin and soft drinks. Everything was all together €25. Though the cereal bread in the sandwich was quite harder to my taste. Never ever felt so horrid in a place of purchase. The sign for the sandwichs was confusing and I bought one with cheese on which I couldn't eat. So asked to swap (hadn't touched it). Got shouted at and asked what do I want 4 times, then ignored and then screamed at by the man on the till. Then a lady came around looking visibly annoyed, I tried to explain about allergies and she just shrugged and said so.

I understand language to be a barrier but the service was horrible, made to feel hated and unhelped. Left the store really upset with a purchase I couldn't enjoy.

Would not step foot in this shop again if ever visiting...
