A Culinary Masterpiece: Dining Beyond Perfection
From the moment you step into Nonna & Nonno, you know you’re in for an unforgettable experience. Nestled in a charming corner of the Chessy Val D Europe, this restaurant redefines excellence in every sense. The ambiance is a harmonious blend of elegance and comfort, with warm lighting, tasteful décor, and a subtle yet inviting aroma wafting from inside the kitchen.
The service is nothing short of impeccable. The staff strikes the perfect balance between attentiveness and discretion, making you feel like the most important guest in the room. Their knowledge of the menu is impressive, with thoughtful recommendations tailored to your preferences.
Now, onto the food – words might fail to do it justice. Each dish is a work of art, meticulously plated and bursting with flavor. The restaurant commitment to using the finest, freshest ingredients shines through in every bite. The starters were a delightful prelude, with flavors that danced on the palate. For the main course, the the Pasta and the Pizza every plate we ordered was simply divine, perfectly seasoned, and paired with accompaniments that elevated the dish to a whole new level.
This is more than dining – it’s a journey through culinary excellence. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or simply treating yourself, Nonna & Nonno is an absolute must-visit. I can’t recommend it enough, and I will undoubtedly return to relive this...
Read moreStopped by on a Monday around 12:15pm with a 12:30pm reservation and were seated immediately upon arrival. Started off with Polpettine Napoletane (beef and veal meatballs) in a delicious tomatoe sauce. Meat was tender and delicious and served hot. Also ordered the carpaccio de boeuf which was very fresh and delicious. For the main entree, I ordered the Trofie Alla Genovese (fresh spatzle noodles with pesto, burrata, cherries and pine nuts) which was very tasty, served hot with the fresh spatzle noodles that were perfectly cooked al dente. This dish was super delicious and filling – in fact, I couldn't finish it so the server asked if I'd like a box to take it home which I did and enjoyed it again at home. We also tried the Funghi E Marsala en escalope de veau. The noodles were tasty but slightly over-cooked (not al dente) and it was served with an abundance of mushroom sauce that was tasty but was not thick enough so the noodles were drowning in the sauce. It would have been much better to serve this dish with less mushroom sauce but thicker.
Overall, we were quite pleased with our first time visit to this popular italian restaurant which has quite tasty food with very good service at reasonable prices. We...
Now in english: I give a 3 for this restaurant not for the quality of the meal but for the poor management of certain managers who are there for the lunch service. The first time I came was with 4 Greek colleagues, the manager (a little blonde with long hair) was extremely unpleasant because they did not speak French and she did not know how to speak English. Not knowing that I was with them and after observing the situation I had to intervene by doing her good understand that this way of reacting was not worthy of a manager, suddenly she felt ridiculous. My second bad experience with this restaurant was on 08/16 around 2:30 p.m. this time I came with an Italian colleague, the manager wanted to place us on a table hidden behind a wall as if we were plague victims. I asked this woman to change our places because we wanted to have a view of the outside more were not comfortable in this place. This lady refused our request without taking into consideration our request and that by being very arrogant in the way he spoke to us. There was too much discrimination in the space of 15 days. At the time we arrived, the service was calm and there had enough room to settle us elsewhere. But Madame preferred to take her spoiled little girl area instead of doing her management job. Disappointed by her lack of professionalism, we preferred to change restaurants. I appeal to the boss of this restaurant, it will be better to put people with a certain level of management and a certain level of English because your amateurs scare away the customers. In addition, you are placed in a tourist area (advice from a tourism professional whom I am) where the whole world is found. What a bad image...
