It's one of those very little advertised places where there is a world of itself. It is just not another japanese restaurant in the flow. It is kind of an embassy for the japanese culture and good taste in Hyères and a very major place to be visited. For this to be possible you need some advance notice and contact with the owners. I was looking for a Japanese restaurant in Hyères a few days ago and found this establishment with really great reviews. It was my first time visiting the city and this restaurant.

Me and my friend ordered 4 different plates and we were not disappointed at all! Authentic Japanese cuisine! Great service, great ambiance and to top it all off, the people taking care of the place are Japanese!

L'ambiance intérieure du restaurant Sachi est agréable et soigneusement agencée. Le personnel de service se distingue par sa gentillesse et son attention.

Cependant, à mon avis, l'élément primordial d'un restaurant demeure la qualité des mets. Malheureusement, les plats servis ici semblent surestimés par rapport aux évaluations sur Google.

-Les raviolis, par exemple, n'ont pas été saisis assez longtemps ; ils ont été retirés du feu avant d'atteindre une belle teinte dorée, et l'assaisonnement de la farce manquait de subtilité. -Quant au « oyakodon », le plat de riz japonais accompagné de poulet et d'œufs, les œufs avaient été trop cuits, ce qui en altérait la texture et le goût. -Les morceaux de poulet frit n'étaient pas préparés selon la méthode traditionnelle du Kara-age. De plus, la sauce qui les accompagnait ne respectait pas les recettes authentiques (Peut-être qu'un simple quartier de citron aurait mieux sublimé ces bouchées).

En revanche, la carte des Nihonshu est impressionnante et offre une belle variété, un point particulièrement appréciable.

En somme, bien que l'atmosphère du restaurant soit plaisante et que le service soit irréprochable, les plats, pour l'instant, m'ont laissé quelque peu déçu. J'espère sincèrement que la qualité de la cuisine s'améliorera...
