Banh Mi Viet Street food - François Verdier — Restaurant in Toulouse

Just got out from a hellish 7 hours of train, and I needed a quick takeout meal on the way back home. Stumbled in front of this store, looked at the menu, and was invited to come in to look at the food (which is a great way to see what you actually buy!)

The service is great, there's nothing to criticise. The lady's french isn't the best, but it's enough, and you can tell she's really trying (and she's really nice!)

The food was great. Took a simple little pad thai, and it's really good. Takeout is delivered in cardboard and 100% recyclable plastic, which is a nice addition. The ONLY thing I could really criticise was the price, which is a tiny bit high, but nothing too out of the ordinary.

Didn't eat in the store, but from what I've seen (and heard!), the place is just lovely. Great atmosphere with some lounge jazz to top it all off.

There is a lot of beef, and the seasoning is just right. It is served with carrots and cucumber shreds, which tastes good. The addition of coriander makes the dish more layered. The hot sauce on the table tastes like Indomie's seasoning packet, I like it.

Definitely recommended! The cook and waitresses are very nice and welcoming. The place is cute and very relaxing atmosphere (not noisy). The food is very tasty, not a lot of choices but that's how you know that everything is fresh and well cooked !!
