Chez Marcel — Restaurant in Toulouse

We came in for lunch as a group of 5, the interior is quite eye-catching, leaves a good first impression. Sadly, the experience itself was far from good from then on. Three out of five meals were bad - one of them was lasagne, burned at the edges which was covered up with a layer of tomato sauce. The other two were steaks, specifically ordered as medium and well done rare - what was brought to us was red, bloody at places and totally raw. We politely returned the steaks (the lasagne was eatable), the waitor came back with them looking slightly better, half of the steak was fine, the other was full of sinews and still containing some raw parts. While returning the meals, the staff was nice, didn't say any sort of apology though. Plus, there were at least two other people returning their meals. The prices are mediocre, it's not expensive, but even in the cheapest bad-looking pub I wouldn't expect 'quality' like this. If you're looking for a place to eat in the center of Toulouse, there's plenty of other restaurants I recommend...

I've decided to try here a rib steak for almost 20 €. I got just raw meat little roasted on sides. A waiter took us the dish without any apologize and few moments later we got the same piece that has been taken away but more grilled. Sorry, but this is unacceptable behaviour for me, moreover the meal wasn't the cheapest. Btw. I saw more people returning...
