Food is excellent. Prices are very good. The waiter was rude and asked if we could please go faster as he was in a rush as usual At this point, the restaurant was empty. When he came to take our drink order, we ordered our meal at the same time and all in under one minute, so I'm not sure how much faster we could have been.

One of the people in our party said they didn't want to order what they ordered but they got stressed out. I ended up not ordering anything. When he came for the dessert order I asked if we could have the cheque as we were in a rush. He understood my point.

When we arrived the same waiter was also rude when we told him we were a party of seven. The Host came over and was about to also question the size of our party when we showed that we had a reservation. I would have given it a one star but the one waiter who brought our food and drinks was very pleasant. Hopefully, you don't have to deal with waiter Eduardo.

The waiter made us all a bit upset and frankly put a damper on the night. Usually, we would tip even though it's not customary; he unfortunately lost out.

Update... We returned and it was very good. One suggestion... 3 plates had lukewarm food, but we will be back. Excellent...

We were informed there was a happy hour, where drinks of all types are discounted to 5 euros. Accordingly, we ordered several drinks each and were then informed that it was not actually happy hour. They were kind enough togive us the price we were told, convenient considering they already had prepared most of the beverages. Nevertheless, when it came down to the payment, the discount was badly conducted and one member of the dining party got all the benefits of the discount while others had paid more than they had consumed. We informed the staff about it and they told us to our faces that it was impossible. Meanwhile, I looked down at the card which indicated the amount I should have paid and noted the difference the server charged me. The blatant disrespect and lies uttered to our faces is what has led me to write this review. The staff here does not take accountability for their mistakes nor do they apologize when the repurcussions of their mistakes are felt by their customers. If it weren't for the staff, the ambiance would be pleasant with beautiful decorations. The food is decent, but nothing...

Came here on a Sunday evening without a reservation. Great location with a nice patio, perfect for people watching. Our server was kind and friendly. Prices at good and good came out promptly.

However, the food quality was not good. My partner's beef was over cooked and dry and the truffle mafalde was bland and lacking flavour.

It seems to be catering to tourists because it is the only place we encountered after many trips to France where when you pay by credit card it prompts you to leave a tip 10-20%! We did tip because we felt pressured and the server was good (and it's awkward not to tip when the server explicitly asked us to), but it left a sour taste in our mouth because we know in France it is not customary to tip that much (sure you might round up the bill or leave a few euros but it's not like Canada/USA where it is standard to leave 18-20% tip at all times).

So i would only go here if nothing else is open. To be fair many places for locals are closed on Sunday so our choices...
