Mantesino — Restaurant in Toulouse

I wish I could give this abomination of a restaurant a 0. We had just arrived and were waiting to be seated when the waitress, with absolutely no explanation, rudely refused to serve us and practically threw us out and was staring at us the whole time. The sheer level of arrogance and obnoxiousness from the staff is astonishing, especially given the ridiculously overrated ranking of this place. I will never set foot here again.

Response to the owner: The owner thinks I am so confused that I do not know which restaurant I visit. Clearly, their staff's impeccable manners are only surpassed by their ability to deflect blame. Rest assured, I’ll be sharing this "confusion" with everyone I know. Bravo on such stellar...

I have to admit, Mantesino is a place worth of it's positive opinions. The service is top class. I really enjoyed the evening with my wife, due to an excellent atmosphere. The food is really good. It's worth to spend some time and to choose wisely. Some propositions in the menu are better than the others. My pasta was outstanding, where in the other hand spaghetti with octopus of my wife was definitely too salty. The starters were very tasty, ideally corresponding to the good quality wine. The high level of the salty positions is not corresponding to the deserts, which are good, but nothing more than that. Delicious! Food was amazing with delicious flavors. I had the penne pasta with the guanciali which was the best that I have ever had. It was crispy and cooked perfectly. My husband had the pasta with shrimp that he thoroughly enjoyed. In addition, the ricotta appetizer was excellent as well as the cannoli!!!
