Mazzolina Pizzeria et Restaurant — Restaurant in Toulouse

I order from them al the time, and their pizzas are seriously delicious (some of the best in town for sure).

However (and I want to point this out constructively) their delivery service is a bit spotty. I would say 75% of the time the quality of their delivery pizzas is just as good as on the restaurant. But the other 25%.... It's almost as if they don't care about quality.

We've had pizzas delivered that are raw inside (oven too hot) and have burnt 1-euro discount supermarket toppings. We've had pizzas with almost no toppings, and sometimes we get pizzas that have old vegetable toppings that taste and look like they've been in the prep box for a few days.

When you're paying 16 euros for a pizza it's a bit disrespectful to send clients a product that isn't prepared correctly or uses sub-par ingredients. If I wanted a cheap pizza made with cheap ingredients I'd order from a cheap place that doesn't go above 8 euros per pizza, Toulouse is teeming with such places.

In conclusion... A bit more quality control could really make this pizzeria live-out to its full potential. If the product isn't up-to-standard, just remake it - a little wait hurts less than receiving an...

Ok. Where shall I start with my horrible experience? First of all, the reservation doesn't work well or they are too busy to confirm. Anyway, we are here, there's place outside which is cool. Then we are waiting for 20 minutes so we can wave at the waitress and order. I understood it's very busy. There are 10 tables inside at most and lots of deliveries. But it's not an excuse to let us wait for 40 minutes again for our pizzas. There are deliveries come and go. There are people coming later than us and have their pizzas earlier than us. Which is not yet the worst, 😭 my friend ordered a pizza without Roquettes, but they got my tartufata without Roquettes.......then, we are waiting for another 10 minutes for fixing the Roquettes problem. It's the longest waiting pizza in my life. And it not worth the time! It's salty and no mozzarella on a tartufata.....The dough is overcooked per my Italian friend. To a conclusion, this is a pizzeria opens on Monday when the other pizzeria closed. That's all what we got! I will not come...

Mazzolina is known as a top Italian eatery in downtown Toulouse. Here is where you want to be for delicious pizza & homestyle pasta dishes. We arrived by train from Barcelona & were looking for a lunch spot. By instinct, this was the first pick due to the aromas from the kitchen, which brought our appetites here. We shared the Margherita pizza & the basil pesto burrata pasta. Loved the pizza! The pasta dish was flavourful & cooked with fresh ingredients.
