The Worst Experience I've Ever Had at a Starbucks
Iâm a regular customer at Starbucks in Toulouse, and I have never been treated as poorly as I was by Sabrina P. the shift supervisor at the Esquirol location. She is clearly not suited for a customer-facing role â sheâs rude, unprofessional, and lacks basic customer service skills. On top of that, she was dishonest.
When I went to pay for my order, I asked to use my Starbucks Rewards âStars.â The barista assisting me didnât seem to know how the program worked, so she asked Sabrina. Sabrina immediately said it was not possible to use Stars on seasonal drinks. This seemed strange to me, as I had done it before. I politely asked where this was stated in the terms and conditions, and instead of giving a clear answer, she started making faces and repeating that âitâs just like that.â No explanation given.
I told her coworker that this was not the proper way to treat customers, and he replied, âItâs the end of the day,â as if that excused the behavior.
When I asked how to file a complaint, she said I couldnât. I asked to speak to the manager, and she told me she was the manager. At the end of the interaction, she told me, âItâs nothing personal, I have nothing against you,â yet never once offered an apology for how she acted.
I went to another Starbucks today and had no problem using my Stars, even on a seasonal drink. Clearly, what she told me was false.
I donât understand how someone with such an aggressive and unprofessional attitude could be in charge of a store. Absolutely...
Read moreI go there to read pretty often. Staffs are very kind.
But very sometimes, itâs too noisy. Not only noisy by the customers but by staff kind of having loud conversation with other staffs and friends visited him..?(Not sure who they are) On that day, my boyfriend came here with me and I asked him if it is normal to make this noisy conversation as a staff. Seemed like he doesnât understand this either.
However still a good place to charge your phone, or enjoy your coffee! They have more than 10 tables. Most of the times I come I could find my seat.
** For whom doesnât know yet, Starbucks allow outside foods if itâs not smelly. Snacks, cakes are okay. I asked, before I opened my cake just in case, they said it is fine to...
Read moreI have visited Starbucks in many countries and I was a barista 15 years ago. Camylle who worked her shift on Friday 17/06/22 was the most rude barista I have ever spoken to! She did not like that I was speaking English, she changed the expression on her face every time I was speaking to her and she responded in French. She was in a hurry to finish the order, without anyone behind me and she was "pushing" me to choose whatever she suggested to me (!) When I finally chose something, she turned her eyes upwards and expressed indignation! I'm sorry but this behavior is unacceptable, there are people who would be happy to do this job. I will avoid this store in the future, chose more...
