Happy Punjab — Restaurant in Versailles

Another typical French Indian restaurant. The offerings were not any different from most Indian restaurants around though here they seem to use thigh meat for their curries, which is not the cut I prefer (it might be yours).

Staff was friendly but I didn't appreciate the waiter trying to convince me my madras wasn't too salty (it tasted like too many bouillon cubes in the mix) instead if doing something to fix it. That being said, I don't find places around Versailles very reactive to feedback on the food unless it's something that makes your meal inedible.

One of the best Indian food in Europe. If you do visit Versailles. Please eat here. The owner was so much welcoming and they really did good. We enjoyed food soooo much it felt like I was eating in india. I would like to thank to the owner of the restaurant who took us in few minutes before opening since it was very cold weather and made us feel like home. Having eaten plenty of French cheese and meats all holiday I felt an urge for a decent curry. HP did not disappoint, perfectly flavoured dishes throughout the meal I had onion bahjees, veg samosa and a salmon madras. The salmon was cooked perfectly, not as hot as you would expect a UK madras to be (apparently its early days for them French and Indian food) but really nice and flavoursome.
