Ordered a Margharita pizza and water. The waiter was friendly and I enjoyed chatting with him. I asked about Cappaccino and he said the barista can make one. After lunch I did just that, but when the cappuccino came out it was had foam that was clearly over steamed. When I took a sip I burned my tongue, which is always a big no-no with cappuccino since the milk should never be above 165 degrees or it will always be burnt--and also will burn you. Well it certainly tasted burnt and I let the waiter know and he informed me that is how they always make it...(probably not how you should address an annoyed and/or frustrated customer) but eventually I asked for the manager. The manager did not speak english which was fine and the waiter nicely translated for me. I was told this is how they have made coffee/cappuccino for 3 years now. To which I probably should not have replied "then you have been making it wrong for a long time." In the end I was a bit upset but I paid for the meal and the cappuccino and let the server know he had been great and I appreciated him.

My recommendation would be, stick to the food if you come at all, but even then if you run into an issue it seems the manager prefers his way to the customers...

TOURIST TRAP!!! Raw burgers, tough steaks, soggy fries and rude service.

Coming down from Versailles, this corner pub looks like the perfect stop for a bite. It's not, do yourself a favor and keep walking.

We ordered a steak bavette (medium rare) and a burger (medium). When the food came, we noticed that 2/3 of the burger was frozen cold and completely raw. Like still mooing raw.

Being used to bloody steaks, my husband tried to eat around the raw parts but was unsuccessful as most of the burger was completely uncooked.

When we told the waiter, he was dismissive and tried to convince us that a medium burger was supposed to be frozen raw in France.

Unwilling to be bothered, he dropped the bill and made sure to quickly come back to run our card, charging us in full for the raw burger still on our table. All to the full roaring laughter and amusement of the...

A very weird experience. The positives: Not extremely pricey. The beer was OK, the pizza was edible. The waiters were pleasant enough.

Now for the weird part: The three of us (couple + child) ordered two pizzas to share. We wanted to have 3 small plates to eat the pizza on, so that everyone could easily try the two different pizzas. As the waitress went in to get us plates, the owner ran in to speak with her. When she came back she told us that the owner REFUSED us extra plates. OK..

When we left the kid tried to bring with him what was left of his coke bottle. The waiter ran after us and said that they needed the bottle, but that he could bring with him what was left of the coke in a plastic cup. OK, again.. Probably reuse and dispenser soda was our best guess. I would recommend going to...

Superb food, excellent service, happy atmosphere, and the most charming new owner , Daniel, who is transforming this restaurant right by the Chateau de Versailles. What an unexpected discovery of top quality in everything we ordered. And I was with a chef born in Paris. We thought we’d just order a coffee and enjoy the location but the unbeatable croissants and friendliness got us to return for dinner that night. And then again the next night. Yes, there are plenty of tourists bc of the location, but so many locals eating here too. Daniel uses top notch local ingredients and we loved everything we ordered (and he makes the tiramisu and the chocolate mousse himself). Try this spot. It won’t disappoint.

Not understanding how this place doesn’t have 5 stars , with service from Audrey and incredible food. We just visited the palace of Versailles and were hungry! My wife is vegan! What do we do?? Came here, ordered the burata dish and a side salad; burrara had charred bell pipers and arugula and olives, as well as bread. So my wife was able to pick and eat. I got the escargot and beef tartare, my wife got a simple tomato garlic pasta The buzzer, didn’t get his name (but he said he was into astrology and was an Aries) was a legend. The server, Audrey is as kind as she is attentive, provided incredible service I would certainly visit here again — thank you for the great service.
