I actually used to live in the Rue d'Anjou back when this place opened. I was there the same week and went back over and over again - it was fast becoming my go to place. Back then the owner gave me some complementary deserts now and then - good times!
Then I moved back to Germany (now over 10 years ago) and just recently visited the place again during one of my holidays. Wow it has changed. It is WAY more busy than it was back then. I waited in line for what seems forever. Prices have gone up but not by much (still great value for what you get) and the menu has changed a bit.
Nonetheless, the food was exactly as I remembered: delicious. I loved every spoonful and am looking forward to going back on one of my holidays in the future.
