A little gem to discover and appreciate. We booked a table to mark the birthday of our son and we had a really nice experience. The room is unassuming, just nice and comfy but small (so for weekends better to book!) , the waitress and the lady are nice and knowledgeable . You can ask advice for pairing wine with the meal. And what to say about the cuisine : really, truly nice. The œuf cocotte was superb, the aumônière of marcellin with citrus fruit well balanced, and the betterave with chèvre frais and raspberry a nice trompé l’œil starter really tasty. The Tbone Veal with bleu cheese sauce was cooked just perfectly and paired with a breazy sweet potato and carrot purée , the souris d’agneau was just as good and pork chimichurri had the right level of zesty, the curry cod was just the right level of heat and was paired with a celery purée as a welcome surprise. Read moreWonderful evening with friends. This is little gem of a restaurant walking distance from the Palace of Versailles. Seating both in and outside adds to its magic. Rustic yet creative menu. The lamb is to die for. Well, so was the foie gras and the pork. They will pair even a glass of house wine with your chosen meal. And the same goes for choice of the right liqueur with your dessert. The food was all-caps AMAZING. We had a duck meal and a lamb meal; cooked to perfection (get it rare - trust me, they actually cook it rare).
