Can Doner — Restaurant in Batumi

Awful service! Owning a restaurant on my own I was shocked by behaviour of staff. I ordered meat on skewer and received liver instead. I called the girl and she said it is what I ordered, I said it is not because I ordered meat and pointed on picture and she started telling me that the liver option and meat skewer option are both livers and they are identical. I said it makes no sense and also used Google translator to make sure they just didn’t mess up translation to English, but even in Georgian it said Meat. I said I don’t want livers and ordered chicken instead because apparently they didn’t have a meat, just liver. My partner had kebab and it was in his words one of the worst kebabs ever. The chicken dish was average. They took away our unused bread as well and put it back in the back for future customers. When paying they however included 30GEL for the meat I didn’t even order and didn’t eat. I said didn’t order liver so I don’t want to pay for it. They got angry and shouted. The girl changed what happened like three times but they still decided to trust her. After long time they offered me to pay half for the dish, and the waitress who made mistake the other half. In any decent place you wouldn’t be asked that since it wasn’t my fault. The situation was so uncomfortable that I decided to pay just to end that. So they pretended to take 15 lari out of the bill but instead took away just 6 thinking we won’t notice so we spend another 10 minutes arguing. It was all extremely uncomfortable and we paid for something we didn’t even order. A big disappointment from a country with otherwise welcoming...

I paid 35 for a donner. And when the waitress asked me what I wanted and showed me how much it cost, the menu said it had fries and a cola for 35. I said I didn't want fries or a cola and I thought I would pay less as the menu said it was just for the donner, but I still paid 35 and when I picked it up the lady said it was a very large doner, only I didn't want one. I preferred to pay less and get a smaller one, but I didn't want to argue, so I took it to go and left. The taste was average and they gave me two different sauces for it. I'm doing a little update because a moment later on my way back to the hostel I passed by another place nearby that also does doners and the one she gave me cost 17 and now I was just passing by that place yesterday where they ripped me off because that's what I should call it and I took a picture of their...

Extremely welcoming and polite service. I’ve never seen coffee served with a flower in a small vase , that was a beautiful touch, I’m impressed. Coffee was good, although capuccino and latte tasted 100% the same. Chocolate cake with strawberries was not too sweet (good amount of sugar) , it didn’t have much taste though and was a bit dry , may be I picked not the best one, but the way cakes look is very beautiful. I recommend this place to visit, cozy interior, beautiful view to the church, tasty coffee and LOTS of cakes...
