Unfortunately, this was one of the worst cat cafés I’ve visited - and I’ve been to quite a few in different countries. I genuinely felt sorry for the cats here. It seemed like they were being kept solely as a gimmick to attract animal-loving customers, rather than being truly cared for.
The café itself was disappointing. The service left much to be desired. Prices on the menu were quite high, yet the place operates on a self-service basis. No one came to our table - we had to go to the counter to place and collect our orders ourselves.
When I asked for a glass of water to go with my coffee, I was told to help myself from a separate table. Seriously? When your prices are above the city average, how can you justify offering no table service at all?
What surprised me the most was that the café claimed to have four cats, but we only saw three - one adult ginger cat and two kittens, around three and a half months old. The adult cat looked quite dirty, and I honestly felt uncomfortable petting him. The kittens were playful and very sweet, but one of them had clear issues with its eyes. I would strongly recommend that the café take the kitten to a vet - it looked like conjunctivitis, which should be treated immediately.
Another concern: the adult cat is allowed to go outside freely and then return to the café. Meanwhile, the kittens are not allowed out. This seems risky - a cat that roams outdoors can easily bring in infections, parasites, or insects into the indoor café space, where people are eating. The adult cat was lounging on various seats, and the kittens were jumping on tables. One of them even drank from my glass.
I genuinely love the concept of cat cafés and always make a point to visit them wherever I travel. But sadly, this was the first time I left feeling disappointed. I truly hope more care and attention will be given to the animals' well-being.
I sincerely wish this café growth and improvement - especially in terms of animal care and customer service. And I really hope that next time I visit Batumi and come back here, I’ll see some positive changes.
I gave it two stars only because I love cats - one star for...

Read moreJust a quick note about a food - it was ok, 3,5/5. Good cappuccino, alright pistachio croissant (too sweet and lacking balance), something called red matcha - really bad, basically sweet milk with no hint of matcha taste whatsoever. What drove me to write a review and giving this place a 2 star is a just terrible hypocrisy of it. While we were dining there was a funny playful cat running around and playing with the carpets. But one of the baristas was really annoyed by that and he just lured him to the door and then threw him away in the street. When we asked why he did that he just ignored us. This is beyond rude and you can't just make your establishment cat themed, have a sign that says "cats free" and then do...
