To the Management and Future Visitors of the Café, My family and I have been visiting this café regularly—about 20 times a year—after our walks in Vake Park. Our family consists of four members, and our average bill ranges from 200 to 300 lari. Today, I want to share my final impression, as from now on, we will no longer patronize this establishment. The service quality has noticeably declined, and the overall experience has become disappointing. Firstly, the staff struggles to understand English. I requested a non-sparkling, room-temperature water, but was served a cold, carbonated Borjomi instead. The dishes often take about 20 minutes to arrive, and the waitstaff do not pay attention to tables or check if everything is okay. They rush past without noticing our needs or concerns. The worst part was today’s experience. I asked for an Oreo milkshake, but after about 15-20 seconds, I changed my mind and requested a honey cake instead. The waitress confirmed my order, but later, she brought us a different set of desserts along with the Oreo milkshake, insisting I ordered it. When I explained that I hadn’t, she refused to acknowledge it and called another waitress with better English. The other waitress suggested they could review the CCTV footage, but I didn’t want to spend more time on this. She also claimed they are trying to fulfill orders quickly, which is ironic since we’ve often waited half an hour for simple water here before. I'm sure no one could start talking OREO shake in 15-20 seconds. That's a lie. To make matters worse, the Oreo milkshake was stale and looked like it had been sitting out for quite some time—probably intended to make extra profit. Dear management, you have just lost approximately 4,000 lari annually because of your staff’s lack of customer service skills and refusal to prioritize visitor rights. The quality of food has also declined sharply. A few weeks ago, we ordered Italian pasta, which was terrible. It seems your chefs have no idea what authentic Italian cuisine entails, despite your prices suggesting a premium establishment. I do not recommend this café to anyone. There are many other quality cafés and restaurants in the area where staff value guests and provide...

I’m so sorry to write this, but today’s service in Coffeeshop was one of the worst restaurant experiences in my life.
Surprisingly, a week ago we were served by waiter Theo at the same restaurant - and it was the best service we've had in months. And I left 5 stars on Tripadvisor. Unfortunately, today I’m not able to change my rating to 1 star.
Today we were greeted with an unfriendly manner, served with great reluctance. They brought us a quesadilla for three people, but they didn't bring plates. Apparently they had to dirty the table with grease. The quesadillas were horribly over-salted.
When they brought the country-style potatoes, the waiter dropped one piece of potato right on the table, threw the plates on the table loudly, and left without a word.
The lone piece of potato was left lying in the middle of our table. He also decided to leave the dirty cappuccino mug on the table.
There was a persistent sense that he disliked us or had done some nasty thing to him before (I assure you, this was not the case). He never once wished us a pleasant appetite, nor did he utter a single polite word. To our "Thank you very much," he simply remained silent.
In restaurants we behave as modestly as possible and even friendly to the staff. I have worked as a waiter myself, and I know how hard it is.
Today, however, we apparently didn't pass the "good guest" test.
I went to ask for the bill myself behind the bar, as I did not have to expect the waiter we had insulted to come up to us.
Perhaps Coffeeshop Wake will remain the most controversial establishment in our memory. If you're lucky, you'll be served excellently.
And if your waiter is having a bad day, you'd better...
Read moreI ordered delivery from this place this morning (Wednesday, July 28th) and not for the first time. I have purposely included photos of my previous orders to proof my point. I had ordered multiple sides of bacon (something I had done previously) and it always came separately with the omelette orders. For some strange reason today, they included the bacon inside with the omelettes. When I tried to tell them that the order was not only incorrect but wasn’t what I normally ordered, aka the bacon on the side, they completely dismissed my claims and said this is how the order ALWAYS is. If that was the case and precedent, why would I keep ordering from here if they are giving me an order that I’m not happy with?
Not only that, one order of egg omelettes with Frankfurter Sausages was totally burnt, tasteless, and inedible and the other order of omelette with tomato and coriander had zero coriander and lots of ham in it not bacon liked they completely claimed. Pancakes were cold as well. So, when I asked for a reorder and a correct order, they refused. So, I asked for a refund, they said no, citing that I should have placed the oder correctly if I wanted bacon on the side and not in my omelette, even though I told them I ordered the past 4 times in the exact same time and received bacon on the side.
Anyway, beyond the food being cold, terrible and inaccurate, the service was the worst part of this experience this morning. Instead of refunding 62 Gel and being apologetic or redoing the order correctly, they were arrogant, ungrateful, and blaming the customer for their error....totally classless and...
