Based on prices name and where it’s located one would think it would be nice place to dine in with your friends, but sadly all of us left very disappointed. We waited for an hour for food to arrive, portions were small, there was more sauce in dish than food itself, it was tasteless and very overpriced. One could enjoy their night out with friends much better in same area without paying as much as we did, and waste way less time of their evening waiting for food to arrive non-edible. Even in McDonald tastes food much better and is reasonably priced aswell. There was only one waitress working and was a little bit rude when we first sat down. My friends ordered noodles, but it was more like Italian pasta, than Chinese noodles. My personal order took over 50 minutes to arrive and when I asked to cancel it they declined because they had already started making, but I still had to wait for longer, when it finally arrived it was burning hot and couldn’t even taste anything because my tung felt burnt, it was obvious that it had no time to sit cus it was brought out as soon as made. And before anyone says anything everyone else orderd way more complicated food to make than I did which was just vegetables in some sauce. There were three other women who arrived after we ordered but they still got their food much earlier than we did. Overall very disappointed with everything service, prices, food etc. P.S. Then they told us we couldn’t split the bill because it was impossible to split the bill when we were...
Read moreFood is wrong. Rice is Basmati, not any kind of East Asian variety. Service is bad. Food takes 1 hour for simple things that should only take 3 minutes (I’m sitting here having waited more than an hour for Spinach stir fried with Garlic, which as a home cook, I know literally takes 3 minutes). Decor and atmosphere was find (aside from the Japanese Umbrellas, which is, obviously, not from Hong Kong).
Overall, terrible. Don’t come here so this restaurant can be transformed into an actual good restaurant.
UPDATE:
I've downgraded atmosphere because the serving staff destroy it.
After waiting for more than an hour for 3 simple dishes, and with the rice served and cold, and less than half the restaurant full, we decided we'd pay for what we were served and cancel the 1 vegetable dish that never arrived. One of the waitresses there decided that this situation was our fault because we didn't tell them that they needed to serve us food in a timely fashion. She also talked down to me and told me that "we are not the only people in the restaurant". This place is overpriced, horrible service, disgusting food, and also employs one of the worst servers in the...
Read moreWhen seeing the name and Chinese characters 餐厅,the expectations for this place were high but unfortunately very much disappointed! The waitress did not write down what we ordered and brought us something different, when we complained she had a bad attitude. Also, the food was very bad and not authentic. The chef seems to have some idea of how the meat and eggplant are supposed to be cut in Chinese meals, but the sauce was a terrible mix of jam or ketchup, which made one of us feel sick the whole rest of the evening, the dumplings had the wrong dough and too much meat, the soya sauce for the dumplings (which strangely enough was not used for the other dishes) did not contain garlic, cilantro or chili which could have improved the whole dish a lot. Also the "Sichuan style" beef was not spicy at all. In the end the waitress did not bring us back our change (after an expensive bill) so we could decide for ourselves how much to tip and when we asked for it, said she assumed it was all for her (20 GEL! For having an attitude before!).
When looking for good authentic Chinese food,...
