Irene — Hotel in Tbilisi

We get there for one night on our 2 days trip to Tbilisi, Mtskheta and Uplistsikhe with group of Armenian tourists from Yerevan (onewaytour.am) Whole trip was very cheap and includes this kind of accomodation. We are not that kind of backpacker travellers, and was a bit shocked by this simple place, but were too tired, and saying the true - it was the exact place for 5-6 hours sleep after tiring trip by bus from Yerevan for 6 or more hours and walking tour till midnight in Tbilisi, nothing more. Slept with 4 others in 8 double bed room with balcony. When enter the room it feels like we turn back time and we're in 70's in comunist Soviet Union. Nostalgic. Irina Guesthouse is localed a short metro ride away from the old town. It is a budget, backpackers place. Inside, you are likely to meet a lot of people form all corners of the world - the decor reflects that fact - artifacts, flags, pictures. It is both homey and international same time. There is a kitchen in which you can prepare your own breakfast. ||||Best of all however is Alexandra's hospitality, She was so kind and helpful.
