Experience was just awful, though food itself was okeyish. 1. Waiters attitude is terrible. It was very hard to call them to make an order/ask question/pay. They act like they don’t see you and don’t hear you, every time they were walking next to our tables they were turning heads in a different direction. At least this was our impression. They throw plates with food to the table saying nothing and just walking away like in a canteen. 2. They shortchanged us twice. It took them 7 minutes to bring the change back. First they brought 4.8 Lari less then they should have brought. After I pointed at this, they took the money back and started calculating again. After 2-3 minutes more they brought us the money, but it was again 0.8 less. We didn’t want to bother and argue with them so just decided to leave the place. 3. The pictures in the menu are not exactly what they bring to you. For example Phali. On the picture you can see 3 pieces of each and 4 pieces of bread, while in fact they brought us 2 pieces of each and 1 bread. And on top of this compulsory 15% service fee charge.

We loooved the food here and came twice. The manager was also super cool guy, very friendly. Our order was absolutely top notch: - Khacapuri - Khinkali - Sashlik ( pork) - Georgian salad ( with walnut sauce) - Eggplant rolls with walnuts - Beef kebab - Wine đŸ· of course The food was absolutely delicious, we really enjoyed and omg the prices there are unbelievable. Georgia became more expensive these days but these guys kept the original prices. I was impressed with the great service, delicious food and big portions for a fair price. If you would like to try Traditional Georgian Cuisine I would definitely recommend you to come here, you won’t regret. If you’d like table on the terrace make sure to book in advance as they are always busy even inside area was full. We were lucky to get a table by the window with a view.

It used to me my one of my favourite places in tbilisi to eat, spend time and enjoy the food and chill atmosphere, especially for late night dinners... me and my friend were coming there often... then when we visited last time our experience was so bad(( the quality of the food dropped soooo much! we couldn’t recognise even the taste of the dishes we used to enjoy before. Mexican potatoes, madam bovary, khinkali, vegetable salad... but then one day It became very ordinary. So disappointed! đŸ˜„â˜č I thought they changed the chef, but they said they didn’t... I don’t understand what happened coz I’m used to the stable quality of food there.. hopefully it won’t get more worse đŸ˜„

Some Chinese travelers recommended your restaurant to us and we ate here on 11th ,the experience was good. So we decided to come here again on the 13th ,Feb to celebrate Chinese new year which finally turned into an nightmare for us because of your waitress’s mistake and the manager’s super bad attitude. A young waiter who was very warm to helped us to order food and did screenshot what we ordered. When we about to pay the bill, 3 Trout Fried On Brazier turned up on the bill which we didn’t ordered and costed 42Gel. We even didn’t know what it is . One of our friends who had dinner with us actually cant eat food which contain some kind of meat.

The whole dinner time nobody came to remind us we ate food which we didn’t order. The manager knew the waitress gave us food wrongly and explained the restaurant have less staff so mistakes always happened. The waitress also said such kind of mistake is normal. Their attitude says that making mistakes in your restaurant is an everyday thing and they couldn’t be bothered about it. We wanted to contact the owner of the restaurant, the manager didn’t want to tell us and said he is the boss here. He kept arguing and fighting with us and insisted “You ate so u have to pay.If u don’t pay ,I will call the police”.

Finally we paid for your staff’s mistake. If most of staff have this attitude, means they can make mistakes every day and the customers have to pay for their frequent mistakes rather than the careless staff should be responsible. Maybe they could also do it intentionally to trap foreigners and make a higher price bill just because sometimes it is a little bit difficult for foreigners to tell the difference of varieties of food. If someone is allergic to some food, then who should be responsible for it?

The waitress came to our table many times and didn’t tell us she gave wrong food to us even though she already found out. she should be responsible for this extra cost and the manager should have apologised to us but unfortunately none of this was dealt with. Also havent gotten any response back from the owner either despite addressing the complaint. Overall bad...

Watch out because a lot of the 5star reviews with no comments below all added in July 2018 are probably bought or added by bots.

I came here a few times in summer 2017 and I liked the food and the staff very much. There may have been a change in management this year. The food is still good.

However the atmosphere is not quite the same. I saw a waiter arguing with two other tables when their bill came (first two German women, then one Georgian couple). When it came for me to pay, he suddenly lost the ability to speak English or Russian. He signed to me using gestures they were closing (it's a 24 hour café) and then that I couldn't pay by card. But I'd seen others paying by card five minutes before. The bill he handed me was 44GEL, which I thought was more than I'd ordered and probably for another table. I asked for an itemised bill, also in gestures, and went to the till so they couldn't ignore me. It miraculously reduced to 29GEL.

I don't know if they were trying to pull a fast one, or if it was a genuine mistake, but I won't be going back. I advise other travellers to be careful, or use another restaurant e.g. Machakhela Café over on...

Very Bad Experience – Not Recommended

I went to this restaurant yesterday with my family while on vacation in Georgia (we came from Italy). Unfortunately, the experience was terrible.

First of all, there was no air conditioning, and when we asked them to turn it on, they refused. It was the middle of August, very hot, and we felt like sitting in a sauna.

The service was also awful. Most of the waiters were on their phones and didn’t pay attention at all. We had to call out loudly and raise our hands many times, but they just ignored us. Only one girl was actually working and trying her best, but she was overwhelmed because she was basically running the whole place alone.

The food was also disappointing. The Georgian meat dish Mtsvadi was extremely salty, far too salty to enjoy. The Khinkali was way too spicy hot inside, unbearably spicy, and also very hot in temperature. The combination of heat and spiciness made it impossible to eat, especially in such a hot restaurant.

Overall, the service and food completely ruined the experience. Sadly, we cannot...
