It was indeed a poor experience and an expensive one compared to the quantity and quality served !
My husband and I visited this restaurant yesterday for lunch. The vegetable curry that I had ordered, first of all was served in a smaller serving bowl and half of the bowl was filled with oil ( am not exaggerating) when I showed this to the person who took our order, he then removed the oil in front of me and the quantity of vegetables was then reduced to half!! I wonder if the restaurant wants their guests to drink a bowl of oil in lunch ?? Secondly the price of food is way more than that of my experience of other Georgian restaurants. We have tried other excellent Georgian, Chinese & Indian food while in Tbilisi. When I compare the food quality & ambiance of Wish for a Dish restaurant, its quite mediocre with exorbitant prices. Examples an Aloo paratha on their menu costs GEL 9 Vs in the other restaurants I have oberserved it's GEL 5/7. Between I didn't order an Aloo paratha cause they don't make it yet.
I would like to appreciate the guy who took our order. He was very hospitable, friendly and receptive to our feedback. I must also mention here, the veg curry was freshly made ( but with oils galore!l) and so were the rotis.
It is a newly opened restaurant and they have very few dishes from the menu available. However the restaurant manager told us that more of their chefs are arriving by the end of July and after that they will be able to serve everything on the menu. Hopefully things will change then.
Lastly I want to mention that the manager's attitude was quite poor. He was not open to feedback and was constantly defensive. Mr Manager it is important to understand the difference feedback and criticism. Feedback is intended to help you and the...

Read moreMy worst dining experience ever. While walking by, the restaurant manager invited us in, assuring us the food was halal (we're Muslims). Once seated, we noticed an 18% service charge on the menu. When the waitress arrived to take our order, she suggested wine and vodka (which was unprofessional and offensive, considering we’d specified halal requirements). We ordered water, which was served in plastic glasses(18% service charge!!)
The food took quite a while and seemed to be brought from another location. The quality was okay, but the mint chutney was just watery yogurt with mint blended in. Meanwhile, the waitress was loudly chatting on WhatsApp in her language, showing little regard for professionalism.
When we calmly raised our concerns about the service, she responded rudely, even making weird/strange comments, suggesting that Muslims were “too particular about drinking from regular glasses.”LMAO. Her dismissive attitude continued, saying, "Okay, you have your opinion. Do you want to pay your bill?" She showed no interest in hearing feedback.
This experience was ruined by the staff’s arrogance and lack of respect for customer feedback. I would not recommend this place to anyone. A little humility and listening to customers would go a long way. Much more I can say, but its should be enough...
