What a great great great restaurant ♥.♥ Who loves or likes hot pot will love it for sure. And, I think others too, since the taste is so convincingly rich and tasty. The variety of ingredients for the soup - such as different noodles, vegetables and meat - is huge.

All the ingredients can be selected by yourself. After that you pay per 100g (2,70€ per 100g), while the minimum amount of weight for one order should be 300g or more. That means the minimum price is 8,10€ for one hot pot soup. After choosing the ingredients, you can chose from many different base soups. My favourite is the “8h chicken broth”. Additionally you can select a spice level for the soup. For Germans it can/could be quite spicy, so better to try first low spice level and then increase it the next time. For me who is used to spicy food, medium or even high spicy level is still fine. As a recommendation: try to use a spicy level that comforts you, but don’t chose without spicy soup base, because as for me the additional great taste will be enhanced through spiciness level ;)

After the hot pot soup is finish you will get electronically notified to pick up the dish from the counter. Then you can add plenty of additionally ingredients to your soup such as: cilantro, scallions, sesame sauce, roasted onions, crashed peanuts (powder), Chili oil and chicken mix. …yes you heard correctly, you can select also for free additional cold chicken-soya-carrots salad, which is by the way already really tasty.

If you have never tried such food like hot pot, you clearly have missed a dish with one of the most riches tastes.

On top of all all ingredients are really fresh - and compared to other similar restaurants (like other hot pot restaurants which name I will not say here) much more fresher and tastier.

All in all the restaurant is one of the best in Aachen and Aachen surrounding area - both from taste and price. Maybe there is a more convincing one in cologne, but I cannot imagine that. The taste is already brilliant. In cologne it would be more expensive. So, I will state, there is no better one in a far distant from Aachen, than this restaurant.

New experience for me . I recently visited Malabar in Aachen with my girlfriend for an early dinner. It was my first time there and I was intrigued by the unique dining experience. My friend explained that we should take a bowl and choose our own ingredients. After selecting our favourite ingredients, we went to the counter where we specified our desired spice level and chose between traditional chicken broth or another option. At the end, they weighed up our choices, including the ingredients and spices we had chosen, and we paid on that basis I was pleasantly surprised and delighted by this process. It's definitely one of the best restaurants in Aachen. Also loved their environment and ambiance. Their classic chicken souo base is for free, and then they have tons of options for topping. At least three types of chicken, 2 types of prawn, 2 types of beef, several types of mashroon veges, and many more. You can also customise your soup for an extra 1/2euros.
