from Lieferando we ordered Dal Makhani, Malai Kofta, chicken Vindaloo (sehr scharf) and 6 Naan. the food came hot and we were happy.
chicken vindaloo is a disaster. they made the sauce and the chicken separately and the chicken wasn't marinated. it is completely tasteless.... the sauce is spicy but you can tell they simply just poured a lot of chilly powder into the dish and nothing else. its just a plain tomato paste with a lot of chilly powder.
naan is a cheat. first they didnt use tandoor, ok. They didnt make their own bread either. They just bought some cheap round bread from outside, put oil (maybe 0,1% butter) and "fry" it on both sides. it is not naan at all. the naan tastes very oily, as if it was soaked in the oil... and we ordered 6 of it, each one for 3 EUR! i just cant taste any butter, the bread is not indian bread, if you are buying bread outside at least get indian bread.
dal makhani is fine. malai kofta is a huge disappointment, first kofta is not fried and inside kofta there is no paneer (cottage cheese) but solely potato. they tried to make the sauce creamy by using pumpkin sauce (i suspect) but malai kofta is not supposed to be dominated by pumpkin taste..... they didnt put sufficient cashew to give a taste at all. i only taste pumpkin and thus the dish should be named pumpkin potato balls instead of malai kofta.
at the end we just couldn't bear it and we threw them away.
if you dont know anything about indian food then you will find it great. its fine since you can fool the other innocent customers around but if you know a bit about indian food please dont order it from here. i hope the comment helps when ordering from this restaurant and they improve their dish quality...
Read moreDo NOT eat here if you have food allergies or if you're on a specific diet. I asked the lady who served us (the owner of the restaurant) if they had vegan dishes. She told me they did and told me they could make some dishes vegan. I asked her specifically if the rice was also vegan, I repeated multiple times "so the rice has no butter?" because I wanted to make sure since she seemed in a hurry or agitated, and she said no it doesn't. We came back a few days later, and I asked her husband if the rice was vegan because I wanted to see if he would say the same, and he had to ask her since he didn't know the answer, and now all of a sudden she said no it has butter!!!!!!! The food itself was super salty and it really seemed to us they rather be doing something else than running this restaurant, especially the lady was pretty...
