Great burger place. It’s got an embellished American diner aesthetic, which I personally love.

The service is great. There’s always someone around who’ll come by to take your request once they’ve got their hands free. The food is served within a decent amount of time, and we both get the food served at the same time. The same goes for three or four people, though occasionally someone does get left hanging for a bit longer.

The burgers themselves are excellent. They’re juicy, tasty and worth the price. The side dishes are also tasty, though they’ve gotten rid of the free mayo on the side of the dish that was present before the war.

Pricing: The menu they offer has increased its price overall by around 10-15% in total. I understand that the war has taken its toll on our economy, and I also understand that the increase in minimum wage has prompted owners of small businesses to hike up their prices. That being said, we used to purchase our menus with a cocktail and a few extras but since every component in the menu has increased by €1, we’ve opted to skip the extras altogether and now order a soft drink rather than a cocktail. I live in Aachen since 4 years and have been going here frequently. Unfortunately me and my friends that went on different occasions all agree the quality has decreased quite a lot. My last experience 2 weeks ago confirmed it. The waitress was unfriendly and did a disapproval face when I asked my burger without brie cheese. Then my 2 friends who are vegetarians ordered something and then they brought something else for both. They said they could not make what they ordered. It's a normal courtesy to inform the customers beforehand. What if they are allergic to something? My order also came without gorgonzola and the only reason I ordered that burger was because of gorgonzola. So I complained and they brought the cheese separately and i had to put in the burger myself. Without mentioning our orders took 2 hours to come. I had a classic burger here and it was unfortunately a nightmare. The beef had a strong bad smell (kind of like goat's smell, which is weird because this is beef), I wasn't so sure after first bite with sauce and vegetables, then I had a bite only with the beef and it almost made me puke. I have never had any beef like this my entire life. I guess there are two explanations: 1) the beef went bad, 2) the minced beef contained certain parts that have strong smells, like internal organs.
