Raja - Indian Food — Restaurant in Aachen

I recently visited Raja in Aachen and tried their naan and three curries: Veggie Sabjie, Chana Masala, and Palak Paneer. Unfortunately, I found the naan to be disappointing in terms of taste. It lacked the authentic flavor and texture that I was hoping for. The curries, while they were okay, did not leave a lasting impression on me. Overall, I would say that my experience at Raja was average. However, I appreciate the effort put into the preparation of the dishes, and the service was satisfactory. I would intentionally like to cut 1 star only because I would like to highlight 2 things. First is that the portion keeps changing and there should be a standard, many times I have received smaller portions. Second is that the small portion in a box is a biggest reason to lose customers. I have seen in last 2 years, many customers drop the plan to eat because of the box, it's not comfortable. Why is there not a single authentic Indian restaurant in Aachen? We tried all but with no success...Raja, even though the food looks okay, also just has little authenticity. The food is very stall. Even when especially asking for a more spicy, authentic seasoning of the chili chicken, we just got the pre-prepared and re-heated, stall, pulp they sell as authentic Indian food. Very disappointing! I am really confused about how they get such a good rating...
