As an American university student who studied abroad in Germany, I spent several days in Aachen and explored the local dining options. Sukhothai Restaurant caught my eye as a fan of Asian cuisine. The interior is beautifully decorated with crafted wood and traditional Thai elements, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. I ordered Pad Thai, and it was absolutely delicious. Although the service at the restaurant was nice, I cannot say the same about the food. We had the fried shrimps with chilli sauce , drunken noodles with chicken, wald curry with rice and fried banana with honey and cream for dessert. The appetiser was nice but the main dishes lacked taste. The dessert was average. Expected the cream to be house made and not the store brought one. Also the banana was probably still too raw and therefore lacked sweetness expected from bananas used in desserts. Have had better Thai...

I’ve been coming to this amazing Thai restaurant for a few months now, and it never disappoints! A friend of mine, who has been a regular here for years, recommended it to me, and I’m so glad he did. The food is truly authentic and FRESH, with spices and portions that are just perfect. The staff is always super friendly, and the owner, who also happens to be the chef, is incredibly nice.
