Yan Tasty Nudeln — Restaurant in Aachen

Found a treasure when I visited Aachen. You can really taste how the noodles and dim sum was properly hand made. My favorite was the Xiao Long Bao, finally found a good one here in Germany. Right thickness of dough, yummy soup inside. I love the skin of the other dumpling (I forgot the name) am- more like bakpao.

We order the sparrmenu - which is quite cheap. 1 bowl of noodle + 1 portion of dumpling less than 15€ - I would say a very good deal! Portion is huge and I was so full for hours.

Maybe next time I will try the ala carte menu. I saw the other tables and they look good. Alao saw many Chinese people eating in, so I think thst’s a good sign of the food’s authenticity.

The only downside is they don’t have a lot if drink options. And pay with...

We ordered beef noodles and the xiao long bao, sadly the dough was tasteless and the inside pretty fatty. However the soup inside of the xiao long bao was good. The noodles in the beef noodle soup were again tasteless and it didn't come with the egg that was shown on the picture. Overall I wasn't satisfied with the food, but those are things that can be improve. The staff on the other side, is really friendly and nice!

Edit: I gave it a second try and I was very satisfied, the soup was very yummy and the dumplings too. As usual the staff was very nice. The only side note for me, is that they don't sell beer....

Netter Laden mit fragwürdigem Geschäftsgebahren. Das Gute vorab: Essen schmeckt, ist zwar keine Offenbarung aber frisch und die Portionen sind in Ordnung. Die Probleme entstehen bei der Abrechnung: Zunächst mal akzeptiert man dort strikt ausschließlich Bargeld. Nervig, aber na gut. Dann wird die "Rechnung" auf Chinesisch gedruckt, ist sehr unleserlich und enthält einen zu hohen Endbetrag. Beim ersten mal hielten wir das noch für einen Zufall, haben höflich nachgefragt. Dabei stellte sich dann heraus, dass die Rechnung posten enthielt, die wor garnicht bestellt hatten. (Wir waren zu dritt und hatten einen guten Überblick, was bestellt wurde) Nach einigem Hin- und Her wurde der Betrag dann korrigiert. Leider sind Varianten dieser Situation bisher jedes mal aufgetreten, wenn wir hier waren und man fragt sich, ob das beim dritten Mal noch Zufall sein kann. Vielleicht soll hier heimlich das Trinkgeld aufgebessert werden oder es steckt etwas anderes dahinter steckt, den (nicht-chinesischstämmigen) Gästen Gerichte und Getränke unterzuschieben, die er/sie garnicht bestellt hat und zusätzliche Kosten zu berechnen, die keine Erklärung haben. Wir werden den Laden in Zukunft meiden, es gibt leckere chinesische Alternativen in Aachen Mitte, bei denen man als Europäer nicht jedes mal das ungute Gefühl bekommt, betrogen zu werden: Malabar, XinLong, Wei&Wei, AsiaNudelBar sind transparent und bieten leckeres Essen, welches die Qualität dieses Etablissements hier...
