BONDY RESTAURANT — Restaurant in Böblingen

Upon entering the restaurant we were greeted by a friendly waiter, and were immediately impressed by the ambiance. The waiter seated us at our table and gave us the menu, and we were given time to order our drinks and food. For my drink I ordered a Rosé Cuvee, and for food I ordered Trüffel Burrata as a starter and the Dry Aged Beef Cheeseburger (you can choose well done or medium). Drinks arrived pretty shortly after ordering, and our food arrived at a timely manner as well. Both plates were aesthetically well pleasing and definitely pleasing to the palate. The truffle with burrata- delicious! The salad was fresh as well. The potatoes that came along as a side with the burger were simple- but great! Their menu is “small”, which was fine since it was a new restaurant to try out. It could be that they have a minimal menu in order to master delicious dishes or they’ll extend it further in the future. Regardless, with each future visit I plan on trying the rest of the menu. Our waiters made sure to check on us once in a while to see if everything was okay or if we needed anything else (it wasn’t overbearing), they also brought their own personality to the table. They were friendly and witty. I plan on coming again to try it out for brunch and would recommend it to family and friends as well. Thank you Bondy for a welcoming experience and great food!

Parking: We arrived at 17:00. I’d say we were lucky getting parking spots right in front of the restaurant, and just up the street (came with two cars). My visit to the Bondy Restaurant was incredibly disappointing. The interaction with the waiter, who claimed to be the shift manager, left no positive impression. Despite a reservation for 2 people, there was a lack of welcoming atmosphere after arriving at the restaurant. During the order placement, there was a sense of haste, urging us to make quick decisions. We had expressed interest in the 3-course option and specifically requested a lava cake, which was confirmed by the waiter.

The first unpleasant incident occurred when the wrong tartare was brought to the table. Politely clarifying that I did not want the version with salmon led to a heated discussion, with the waiter becoming noticeably loud and disturbing other guests. He suggested I could order the correct tartare at my own expense, which I declined. When dessert arrived, instead of the confirmed lava cake, we were served a chocolate cake. Upon addressing this issue, the waiter became loud once again.

Even during the payment process, we were not provided with a correct receipt. The entire experience was dismal, marked by uncomfortable situations. Due to these circumstances, I strongly advise against anyone visiting...

The moment we walk through the doors, we were greeted with a kind face and friendly heart. Mate ( I hope I spelled it right) stopped us and chatted with us and made us feel welcomed.
