The food tasted great;

⚠️ however there is a clam shell mixed in our tuna-tartar… which I find quite unacceptable. We didn’t order any clam dishes, so this clam shell must’ve come from someone else’s order. Raising serious concerns about the food handling process.

Luckily it’s young people who chewed on this clam shell, imagine if it’s an eldest… it could’ve break their tooth. Or if people who have allergic to clam chewed on this shell that wasn’t supposed to be in the tuna dishes!

In the end, all we received was a simple “sorry” for this incidents and nothing more. ⚠️

As I mentioned, put aside this issue, the food was great, the bread was done right, I barely eat those pre-meal bread lol, but I enjoyed the bread here.

Thunfisch tartare was a little salty, but I do love the fragrances of the soy bean sauce.

Pasta was amazing, flavourful and nice texture.

Fish is fresh and cooked well, the veg is a little overcooked.

The Creme brûlée was crazy good; especially the homemade vanilla ice cream on the side, one of the best vanilla ice cream I’ve had. The strong essence of lemon in creme brûlée is very refreshing.

——— Regardless, still think that food concern issue that was mentioned should’ve been handled more appropriately. A simple sorry...

This place is amazing. The food (obviously the reason to go to a restaurant) is out of this world, fresh, simply the best. The service is hugely attentive, friendly and any request is met with effortlessness and friendliness. The atmosphere is relaxed, stress free and perfect for a good meal. As for the salt shakers and menu, spotless. Everything is as it should be and we’ll absolutely be going back again soon. I’m already hungry...

I recently dined at the L’ancora Italian restaurant, and it was a delightful experience. The food was incredibly tasty, served in generous portions that left me satisfied.
