As the name suggests so is the place if one knows Indian taste. It definitely quenches any Indian‘s hunger for taste of Indian food with a touch of street food customisation. Feel free to request level of spice… as much as you can handle 🥹. Finding a parking may be a little tough however if you can walk few steps then it’s not a problem (personally I needed a walk after the meal 😜). Before taking back any bad taste/experience from the food I would recommend to just ask the owner for customised dish and you surely won’t be disappointed 😊
Whether you are a teetotaler or prefer hard drinks you won’t be disappointed. The tea was amazing and please please do keep some space for it after your meal🙏🏼. We plan to visit again and again and again although it’s not in Coburg… But it’s worth every distance you drive to be here..

Read moreWe visited Samrat & Spices on Saturday, 22-July for dinner. The restaurant is located very close to the Domplatz (2-3 mins by walk). The have plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Considering the lovely weather, we got a table outside. We called for Pani Puri (must try!) and Vegetable Manchurian. For mains we shared a Chole Battura (highly recommended). The food was authentic with plenty of flavour. Infact, I would rate Samrat much higher than the Indian restaurants I've visited in Munich. The service was quick and efficient. Overall, enjoyed the evening. Since the place gets busy, would suggest to make a reservation in advance especially if you wish to sit outside during...
