We where here with our orchestra. Awefully rude waitrice. Snaped at the vegetarians and was very rude. Served them meat with the explination that it would take them 10minutes to fry the vegetarian option. In the end she offered the potato and the asparagus without any substitution for the ham.
We were told water was 2.60 euro no matter i tap or sparkeling.
There are better restaurant locations. Google ones more!
Addition:After posting this review we were scolded and yelled at by whom we assume to be the owner (or barman). He accused us of being "kindergarten". He claimes that the water never cost any money and that no vegetatian option was ordered for the vegetarian who did not get any and was met by rudeness. He totally denied our experience and did not listen to ous experiance . Very condescending.
Another addition: Not sure if the answer he sent shows on google but he was quite upset at the review. I can ad that yes the food was great! The problem is in the service and treatment. The waitress was still rude and he aggressive and insulting. But yes go here if you want to try the food but be very clear and ask extra if there might be a misunderstanding. And if the owner or waitress gets angry and rude just walk away. After insulting us once more he asked that I remove this...
Read moreWe tried to have a dinner here. I asked two questions: "we have to order and bring to our table ourselves or servant will do?" she didn't answer, assuming that she doesn't understand English well, I repeat my question in another way, got an answer almost shouting that she will serve. We occupied one of the tables outside and were waiting to her. When she approached, as we had an only 45 minutes to our bus, I asked her whether sousages will be ready in 45 minutes because we had our bus leaving that time and got an answer "This is not a McDonald's for you, goodby" and went. I was shockrd, I never seen such histeric and rude servant. The only thing I did was asking a question. She was german. I had a dinner at "Scheiners am Dom" which is next to it, where got a perfect service and left 10% tip. My suggestion: never go to this place, they don't respect people and easy you'll...
Read moreArriving here on a Saturday evening around diner time, I was lucky to have a free spot on one of the outside benches. The atmosphere around this place is really nice. People sitting outside having a nice time, street full of drinking people and live music playing from inside. The menu is quite good, with a lot of typical German dishes too choose from. The Bierhaxe is good, quite big and not too much fat around it. The sauce could be a bit less runny, but good anyway. The Sauerkraut is soft and tasty, not what you get from the jar. The Smoked beer is something special and reminds me of the Dutch bokbier which they serve around autumn. In total €20,- for this dish and and liter of beer....
