I was passing by this place many times, as a fan of spicy korean cuisine I had to check it out finally.
Started off, with the QR code for the menu that is on the door not working, and the team joking about it when we entered. I mean if you know that it is no longer working maybe would be worth renewing the service or just taking the paper down? Otherwise it doesn't look very professional.
Menu is a bit confusing, first position is sauces so I assume this is what you start your order with. (step 1 sauce, step 2 protein etc). Ordered chicken bites, chicken popcorn, 2x sauce (korean teriyaki and spicy ones), and korean mayo.
Chicken bites on the menu don't have any sauce on the picture (wings do) - that's why we took additional ones - but when we got the order the bites were already covered with sauce handsomely. They were ok, not great but the best out of what we got. Meat was juicy, but sauce was too sweet, and not salty enough.
Chicken popcorn was much less flavorful, and quite dry. Sauces were both disappointing, spicy one was not really spicy (rather German spicy than Korean). Since bites were with the sauce we didn't have much use for the ones we ordered.
Korean mayo was served in a little container, but looked like it was squeezed there from some bottle. Didn't have any particular flavor to it, so we mixed it with spicy sauce for some taste.
A bit confusing place, resulted in not very...

They could have been a bit crispier, but it was a delivery so I understand the lack of crispiness. Maybe put the glaze on the side and let people do it themselves once the food is delivered?
So I had the chicken burger + fries and I loved it!
The chicken was dark meat (thigh) which is infinitely better than breast, because it is much juicier. The crispy chicken was between 2 pieces of soft, buttery, toasted brioche toast slices with a tangy, sweet and fresh slaw that cut through the richness of the sandwich perfectly.
The fries were lovely, I think they had truffle seasoning, but I am not sure as it didn’t say in the menu. Nevertheless, they were well seasoned and crispy. The dip (japanese mayo?) was a good...
Read moreCame by for a quick snack around mid afternoon. Quick service, food was freshly made. Ordered the 6 PC 44 Bites with their spicy Gimi Oppa sauce. Delicious. The chicken was moist, tender, no tendons or tough bits. The sauce was spicy but not flaming hot. Exactly right level of spice that burns but you can still enjoy. Came with an extra fortune cookie and lollipop which was a cute touch. Calm atmosphere, several guests sitting in, but the delivery service seems very popular too. Rate it very high for Korean chicken in Berlin, I've definitely had worse in town. I'll be back! Their 44Burger looks very good too
Only point: was here in the winter, it was chilly, so I left...
