Ordered the tofu bibimbap and wasnt disappointed, good range of toppings, fried egg was cooked medium, although the sauce was a bit sweeter than i expected. All the vegetarian (and frankly also the non vegetarian) sides looked great so we had trouble deciding which one to pick. We settled on the fries, which were perfectly done with great crisp and salt content, also a very slight spice (almost not noticeable, but made them fit nicely with the flavors of the bibimbap). We also had the kimchi mandu, also a perfect crunch and stronger, but not overwhelming spice. The last item was the yuzu seltzer and that was an absolute favorite, lightly sweet and citrusy, i would easily buy a case of that - a must try to accompany your meal if you like sparkling beverages.

The food is still very good, even if the preparation has become a little less loving over the years and with daily routine. What is an absolute no-go, however, is the pricing for orders via WOLT as opposed to takeaway. The portion sizes are absolutely identical, the preparation is the same, and if you pick it up yourself, you even get a WOLT bag. Therefore, it is completely incomprehensible that a Bibimbab costs €9.50 in-store and €13.90 (+46%) via WOLT. The Kimcheesilla Fries cost €8.50 in-store and €12.90 (+51%) via WOLT. On top of that, you pay WOLT for the delivery. I can understand that restaurants try to somehow compensate for their fees incurred at WOLT. But at this level, the pricing is more like double middle finger extended to customers.

3.5 stars. I ordered the spicy chicken tacos and beef bibimbap. Uber Eats delivery came rather quickly, but the tacos were already almost cold by the time I got them. Anyway, the bibimbap was quite nice and the portion was big, but could definitely use some actual kimchi cabbage (not just pickled carrots and cucumbers). The “tacos” were ok, except for the fact that they were wrapped in somewhat stale pita bread. If you call it a taco, why not use a tortilla as an outer shell?… This was more like a spicy chicken döner. The prices are not too bad, the tacos could’ve been cheaper.

UPDATE After a few months, we re-visited and ordered take out. The quality was much better and reminded us of why we like this place. We will be coming back :)

If you're new, you might like this place. But if you've been a long time customer, you might share our disappointment. This place has been our favorite delivery restaurant until recently. The quality has gone down and portions are getting smaller. We ordered 2 chicken salads, chicken used to be good and lean, but our pieces had a lot of fatty parts. The salad itself was wet-not from the sauce, but from wet spinach and lettuce. I don't want an "we're sorry to hear about your bad experience" response. Be better Son Kitchen, be what you were before. Don't cut corners. You are a good restaurant with good food. Show us the good food you...
