A lowbar even for Berlin, where one has a higher chance of getting hit by an asteroid than finding a good meal. The “BLT Special” bagel was lovelessly loaded with about 5 slices of the cheapest supermarket ham, covered in pickles (!!!) not advertised or requested, then slathered in such a vast quantity of a tasteless white sauce (mayo?) that it instantly fell apart the moment I picked it up and attempted to eat it, requiring a year’s supply of napkins… At €14.50, this is beyond absurd. Please consider hiring a chef with more than 3 days’ experience…. or a human who has at least some vague familiarity with the concept “food.”

The place itself looks nice but it's absolutely overpriced for a self-service place, cutlery was dirty, Bagel was cold, Lemonade tasted like water (but at least they fixed it). Besides, food was ok. There are no paper menus and the online QR menu doesn't work (so not very welcoming for older guests). Super loud tourists made the atmosphere unbearably noisy despite the place being only half full. It's a shame, used to love this place many years ago. Staff were friendly nevertheless, but I will definitely not come back.

We had Pastrami Bagel and Pulled Chicken. Service was quite slow. Took around 20 minutes to just get two sandwiches. I had higher expectations with Pastrami Sandwich and expected something like New York deli food. However, pastrami was nothing but from a regular grocery. Very thin cut. Bagel flavor was so strong I barely got the taste of Pastrami Anyway, pulled chicken was around 12€ and for that quality and service I would say it was overpriced l

Quite a bit to say about this place, I live in the neighbourhood and often order online and the food is usually very good.

I decided to go there recently with my family who was visiting me in Berlin and had an interesting experience to say the least.

The service is terrible and looking at the reviews for the last few months I am surprised the owner hasn't fired the staff and started again from scratch with new employees.

It's a combination of bad communication between them and IDGAF attitude.

25 minutes after ordering they told us that there were no bagels left so we had to have bread instead, so we requested that we order from the lunch menu instead which is available from 12, as it was 11.45am we were told this wasn't an option but we asked the waitress to double check. She then came back a few minutes later and said that there weren't enough bagels but that we could have the last ones and other people would get bread..

We asked for spoons twice to share some muesli and never got them, we asked for the bill three times and only got it on the third try.

The sad part of this review is that the food is good but the service is just abysmal and its taking away from the cafe.

Some actionable feedback for the owner: get new staff or retrain them and ensure higher standards are kept, they also seemed a little understaffed.

Move the orange juicer machine somewhere else like the kitchen as it is extremely loud and irritating for the entire restaurant or get the staff to juice before opening...

Wonderful location but a complete miss quality/ price.

This must have been one of the most expensive cafes I have visited in Berlin (5€ for a tea that consisted of fresh mint with some ginger pieces, 12€ for a bagel and nearly 19€ for a salmon salad!) for a quality far inferior than your regular brunch places in the area.

The food: school canteen quality for the spätzle and the bagel was cold with soggy bread. The portions were also quite small.

On top of that, the cafe is self-service and is generally quite dirty. The place needs urgently some dusting and all the fake plants a good wash, the ones located on the toilets are building grime.

To sum up: Either prices need some realistic adjustment or the general offering has to improve in order to thrive long term. Can’t recommend...

This cafe has been a favourite spot of mine to get work done while having a quick bite but today I had a rather unpleasant experience. I ordered the goat cheese bagel, and once I received it I was surprised to see that there were walnuts inside as I have a nut allergy. There is no mention on the menu that there are nuts in the bagel so I alerted the staff and asked for another bagel due to my allergy. They then gave me the avocado bagel and after a few bites I realized that there were hazelnuts inside. Unfortunately I didn't have time to complain to the staff because I was having an allergic reaction and had to leave. If you do come to this cafe and have an allergy, be extra careful because the...
