My boyfriend, Nikil, and I were passing through Berlin for an extended long weekend a couple of weeks ago, and we stumbled upon this beautiful sabich shop. It was my first time having sabich and I only want to have it from Goldadelux again. It is situated in such a beautiful and quaint location with cobblestone streets and a parkette across the street. With a line down the block and not letting up, if there’s anything we’ve learned from our time in Berlin it’s that if a restaurant has a line, it’s for a good reason! And we were very right. This sabich shop is the epitome of doing one thing and doing it RIGHT. The ingredients were all so fresh and the flavour profile was incredible. They somehow mastered a sabich that is perfectly balanced between freshness, spice and slight smokiness somewhere? My tastebuds were dancing and my tail was wagging - but that could also be because of the dope tunes the owner was playing :) we were lucky enough that the two window-seats opened up inside but there were also plenty of picnic tables directly outside or even park benches just across the street that varying groups of family and friends were crowding around happily. Read moreIt’s hands down the best Sabich I’ve ever had! Each bite is a perfect balance of creamy with bold, unapologetic flavors that explode in your mouth. The combination of smoky eggplant, perfectly spiced potatoes, excelent Amba (that is not made of Mango!!), and fresh herbs is nothing short of extraordinary. Every ingredient feels thoughtfully chosen and masterfully prepared, making it an unforgettable culinary experience.
And let’s not forget the tea it’s divine! Rich, aromatic, and brewed to perfection, it’s the ideal companion to the Sabich, adding a warm, soothing touch to the meal. The atmosphere at Goldadelux is equally exceptional. The cozy, vibrant vibe makes you feel instantly at home. It’s the kind of place where you can relax, savor every bite, and lose yourself in the incredible flavors and ambiance. The desert (not a Kounefa)...

I ordered a Sabich and I told him that the egg has to be fully cooked as I was pregnant. I mentioned this a few times that the egg can not be raw. They made the first order wrong so I had to wait a little longer which I was totally fine with, but when I finally got my food I found the whole egg inside was half raw. Apparently they did not care at all! The egg was cut into slices so no excuses they did not see it. I would not come again simply because my instructions were completely ignored. If you are not able to follow customers instruction then just say it and I would have find another...
