My husband and I came here on Friday around 18:00. We sat outside - but the interior looked nice.
The service was great - super lovely and attentive.
The wine and selection was also great.
The music was a bit strange which gave the place an odd vibe. But maybe that’s just personal taste.
Now for the food - the menu said “artisanal charcuterie board”, which it was not. It was a bowl of cheese with a side of salted crackers. The cheese was good - maybe higher end supermarket cheese? And the jam was a lemon curd which I found strange but my husband liked, and something else. For expecting a board, it was a bit disappointing, and definitely too much cheese for two people.
It would be great to have a mixed board with veggies and mead, and to have bread with it. If we didn’t order the bread, the crackers would not have been enough to balance out the cheese.
The zucchini flowers were fine but we didn’t expect them to be stuffed with cheese. There were 5 of them.
The bread and butter was really nice.
The olives were fine but we didn’t expect it to be a mix of black & green (usually we are only served green) but that’s no biggie.
I would totally recommend that you try it if you’re in the area - but maybe for a wine and a small bite before dinner.
I did like the place, but there are other places closer to my home that offer more of what I...
