Bistro Samariter — Restaurant in Berlin

Samariter Bistro has a very special place in my heart. I have been here at all hours of the day; from breakfast through lunch and dinner to a snack after a night out. You are always met with a (in Berlin) seldom seen warmth and genuine friendliness. The entire team are truly great people.

Having said that, their döner is THE BEST in eastern Berlin! The pide bread with sesame is toasted to perfection. It is filled tasty, crispy döner meat, fresh lettuce and veggies topped off with superb sauces. I call this street food gourmet.

This could be Berlin's best vegetarian kebab! Amazing halloumi doner.

There isn't a single element that isn't perfect. The bread is the best I've had in any kebab ever, halloumi cooked perfectly, the salad really fresh, the sauce delicious and the roasted veggies (eggplant, courgette, potato) are superb.

It's also a really nice street to eat food on, really quiet with birds chirping and the occasional bell from the church.
