Exceptional Internship Experience at Galleri Heike Arndt – Highly Recommended!
I had the privilege of completing my internship at Galleri Heike Arndt DK from March until August 2024, and I wholeheartedly give this gallery the highest recommendation as a place for people to do their internship. From the very beginning, I was welcomed into an inspiring and dynamic environment that fostered creativity, value, and collaboration within our team and external.
The CEO, Heike offered me a well-rounded experience, allowing me to work across various tasks, from curatorial work and event organization to management and administration. I had the opportunity to take on significant responsibilities, which helped me develop both professionally and personally.
Galleri Heike Arndt DK's international and multicultural atmosphere contributed to an special experience. It exposed me to artists from around the world, broadened my understanding of contemporary art, and taught me how to navigate a in a international workplace and team.

Read moreI went with a couple of friends to the exhibition opening at Galleri Heike Arndt yesterday, and honestly, it turned out to be a really disappointing experience. The space was packed to the point of being uncomfortable, and the artwork selection (mostly prints, from what I could tell) was both sparse and underwhelming — we made it through the entire show in about ten minutes.
The food offered was also very poor, and on top of that, a few guests had clearly gone overboard with the drinks. At one point, someone was actually sick near the gallery, which pretty much killed the atmosphere. I came expecting an evening of art and interesting conversations, but instead it felt chaotic and unpleasant.
To make matters worse, the owner gave an endlessly long speech mostly centered on herself, which dragged on and felt out of place. I was hoping to hear more about the artists and their work, but that never really happened. Overall, the night...
Absolut empfehlenswert. Immer wieder! Stefan Friedemann 03. 10. 2025
The new exhibition Mini Maxi Print 2025/26, which opened on 1 October 2025, is once again such a colourful, varied and exciting overview of the latest trends in artistic printmaking at the highest level that anyone interested in art who wants to familiarise themselves with printmaking techniques and happens to be in Berlin should definitely immerse themselves in this artistic cosmos of such diverse forms of expression in this extremely pleasant atmosphere. Abstract, lyrical, expressive or rather existential graphic expressions can be found alongside figurative narrative, surreal or minimalist positions. The fantastical stands alongside the very real, cool distance alongside great immediacy. Once again, a truly successful selection, balanced and rich in contrast, clearly presented and visually appealingly structured. A quiet, concentrated examination and contemplation is possible here in a contemplative manner. The staff are very friendly and courteous, and extremely knowledgeable when it comes to answering questions. You can really feel welcome and spend an eventful and enjoyable time in this gallery. Highly recommended. Again and again! Stefan Friedemann...
