Authentic Chinese food with specialty in spicy food We went there because I wanted some specific Chinese food, such as spicy dock blood with intestines and green bean jelly. We ordered 5 dishes- goiza (fried dumplings) with beef filling, green bean jelly with sesame sauce, fried beef in Hunan style( spicy) and the spicy duck blood with intestines. Almost all the dishes are very strong flavors and well spiced. Definitely very authentic without adjustment for western taste. I was very satisfied with the food and so was my 1-year-old son. He had a very good mood through the dinner. He loved the dumplings and the rice. The staffs there were very friendly. They interested with my son and it entertained him for sure. They also offered child chair. They might be a bit under staff so the serving and the service was less efficient so be prepared when going there.

There are many little sparrows outside who are not afraid of people at all. They steal rice for them, and they fly right away. Don't imitate children, save food💦. What impressed me the most was the big red napkin and the weird chopsticks (picture 9) given by the boss. I looked at it a little bit, and inexplicably remembered that the horror movies I watched before were all in this color scheme. Mind, don't turn to the last one 👺. Picture 1️⃣, Duck blood vermicelli soup. Originally, when I ordered, I asked the boss what soup I could drink, but the boss said that the person in front ordered this vermicelli soup, and I heard it. That has to be done 😏. There is really a lot of duck blood. Is it because no one eats here, so I put more. There are a few fans, so consider asking the boss to add a little more. Figure 2️⃣, Sanxian Guoba. In front of you, I will pour the hot Sanxian soup (shrimp, shiitake mushrooms, tomato, corn and greens hodgepodge) on it, and I will post a video next time. Soup is good for soaking rice. Picture 3️⃣, beef tendon in pot. Oxford can bite, melt in your mouth, delicious but not greasy, and the taste is mild. Figure 4️⃣, Dry pot cabbage. With a few slices of pork belly, the cabbage has the aroma of meat, and it tastes crunchy and delicious 😋. Figure 5️⃣, the clear soup is chaotic. There are about a dozen in it, and you can eat it to satisfy your cravings. You can try it if you want to eat. Nothing special. Figure 6️⃣, Chicken pot. There are few pieces to eat, and some blood is prosperous. Figure 7️⃣, appetizer. Garlic white meat. This appetizer is very affordable, the price is only half of the main course, but the portion is a lot. Figure 8️⃣, in the corner of the window, Shanshan's hut. Cost: about 17 euros per person, a little expensive, suitable for cravings. Gleimstraße 24, 10437 Berlin

Nice place with excellent food, but will require patience and customer is not the king. Food is overall good, with a quite distinct taste. Tried a couple of dishes, especially the hunan beef was excellent. Drinks menu is OK, but some improvement potential on the services side: They forgot my drinks order completely (or they just came with it when I had already finsihed all) and English speaking level is clearly below acceptable. So all in all food is 4.5 stars, but service only 3, so this time I have to objectively settle for a 4 as the food weighs higher.

Rudest service I've ever had. Food not very good. Definitely not worth spending hard earned money at!

We arrived at 20:40. They close at 22:30. The German waitress was sucking down a cigarette right outside. Already a red flag, but I chalked it up to being Germany. No greeting. I actually didn't realize she worked there until she followed us & told us where to sit. We had to call the other (Chinese) waitress to order because she took too long. Food comes out & is just OK. Full of sugar. I don't know how people rave about the kung-pao chicken. Way too sweet & half peanuts with hardly any chicken! The pork was also swimming in a too-sweet sauce. Same with the lotus root, which is unnecessary. Usually when a place cooks with that much sugar it's to cover up poor quality ingredients. The thousand year egg & spinach soup were fine.

We asked about dessert at around 21:30 & were told they were closing soon. We ordered a pot of the wellness tea (which was also unnecessarily sweet) for 2 but with 3 cups. We were charged €3 for the extra cup.

The big issue was how rudely we were rushed. An hour before closing, they sprayed the tables with a highly toxic chemical cleaner we had to inhale while "enjoying" our sugary food. I should have complained then (we were in the middle of our meal), but I didn't. I let it go. The smell lasted a long time & was nauseating & truly ruined the experience. But wait, that's not all!

Starting at 21:30 the smoking German waitress came to the table, aggressively removing dishes. We had to tell her more than once not to clear food we were still eating. Towards 22:00, she became more deliberate in her "clearing" of the table. All servers know doing this is code for wanting the customer to leave. It wasn't even closing time! We paid our bill & were finishing our tea when she took the receipt - which we wanted to keep - off the table and crumpled it up with some dirty napkins. When we told her we wanted it, she first offered up the crumpled, dirty one. We asked for a new one. She complained about it in German to another employee, a Chinese man (the owner?), who started mocking us with obscene gestures behind our backs. Who does that to a customer?

Before 22:00, I took my 3 year-old to the toilet. I came out & had to climb over a pile of garbage to get back to my table. I get that they want to leave at 22:30 sharp so they start to clean at 21:00 & left the trash next to the bathroom with no regard to the customer.

I digress. Mean angry German waitress exactly at 22:30 shouts "we are closed now." Simultaneously we were gathering our things & putting our coats on. I put my toddler's outerwear on with our phones on the table & she comes right next to me & starts spraying that horrid chemical cleaner. I start coughing & tell her she sprayed it right in my face. She says it wasn't in my face. To be fair, she is right. It would have been psychotic to spray a customer directly in the face with toxic chemicals. But she sprayed it inches from me & the mist hit my face & I was forced to inhale it, with no regard to my phone or gloves or other things on the table. I told her she was rude, gathered up our things & left.

Such a sour taste in my mouth from this experience. Had I just eaten overly sweet & not so great food I would have let it go, but after dealing with such nasty & rude service, I had to warn others. These people are wrathful, crude & truly unhappy, with no regard for their customers. They didn't want us there & they let it be known. I shudder to think how the kitchen staff feel, because I did wake up the next morning with diarrhea. I imagine if you're making food for people around that much hatred, some negativity is bound to surface in the food. Quite the opposite of "made with love."

I warn you to not eat at this noxious restaurant, unless you want to be filled with toxicity & poisoned with chemicals as you eat Chinese food...

Chaotic service, extremely slow kitchen, average food and unpleasant environment. You can tell why this supposed “five star” chef is cooking at a cafe-bar-imbiss instead of a proper restaurant.

Due to the positive reviews and the claims to fame of the chef, I had rather high expectations. Specially since this restaurant requires you to inform them in advance about your orders.

We gave a list to the restaurant a day in prior (their request) on what we would be ordering. Despite this, it took the kitchen a whole hour just to bring out the first appetizer.

The food arrived with huge time intervals in between. I understand this may a traditional chinese way serving food, but one of our main courses never arrived, leaving my friend staring at her empty plate for the whole dinner. After we inquired our waiter about the missing food, he ran like a headless chicken back to the kitchen: they had in fact forgotten about our order.

It took almos three hours to eat three appetizers and seven main courses between seven people.

The idea of ordering dessert not only seemed masochistic but also impossible, since the kitchen had already closed.

Regarding the food, the pork was indeed very good and very nicely cooked. The duck was average at best and accompanied by an “iceberg lettuce” salad (not precisely what you’d expect from a five star chef).

As an surplus to our experience, one of the diners on the table next to hours had had way too much to drink and was puking into a plastic bag placed on the dinning table for all of the other customers to see. I understand the restaurant is not responsible for it’s customer’s behavior, but I do believe that asking this man’s friends to take him away at that point would have been very much in order. My guess is that he was a friend or relative of the owner? Regardless,...
