Saturday 16.10.2021 - All in all, worst food experience in Berlin so far. Noodles were not available after 1 and a half hour waiting in the queue.

We were in the queue 19:50 until 21:20 to get seated. After waiting at 6 degrees Celcius outside, the whole queue was told that the machiene that makes the dough is broken. This info however was told the people already sitting much earlier. Looking at yesterday's reviews the queue outside was told about 30 minutes later that we cannot have noodles. Just come outside and tell everyone that they don't need to wait another 30 minutes, gosh!

We asked if they can't be creative and make the noodles without the machiene, since it fat letters it says "HANDPULLED NOODLES". Actually no one in the queue believed that the "machiene was broken". The restaurant will be open the next day and sell noodles. If they can repair the machiene within a day, they could have repaired it the same day as well. We were only offered the buns. We were not offered a free drink or side dish after all this mess.

We got 4 chicken buns and the cucumber salad. One bun was even missing a pickle. If you let the customer wait for one and a half hour, then just try to not make any further mistakes.

In the end we apparantly didn't pay for 2 buns. We don't know if the waiter forgot it or if it was on the house, since there was no communication. Im the beginning I even asked if the cucumber salad could go on the house, but the cashier said no. That's why we thought we should pay everything.

I have tried these noodles before twice. It basically is just noodles + chili oil + beef. Tastes good, but definetly not worth waiting more than 20 minutes and they hype created by the queue. Trust me, in China you get this at every corner...

Been coming fairly regularly for past year or so and recently it seems prices have skyrocketed comparatively to when I first came, but this is first time I've come to this branch:

Service: staff were friendly but clearly with it so busy you could feel they were impatient to move on

Atmosphere: the schonhauser stop is so small and they really pack tables in but it leaves you with even less room to breathe, they do so much take out that you sort of feel that's the priority over the people who are queueing for a table.

Food: I love the food and this was maybe my 6+ time eating at a Wen Cheng (and as usual I had biang biang beef) as did two of the diners I brought... Now I know it's spicy (which I love)but I can't help but feel either the restaurants aren't standardising the plates or they got our order wrong. I could just about manage it but two of our guests couldn't finish their bowls which is crazy especially because I know from experience they can handle their spice and even me who eats this exact dish many times, struggled. That doesn't include the fact that the portions are definitely being sized down and when you throw that in conjunction with the fact you're paying I think maybe 4€ more a bowl then a year ago... That's pretty bad. I will definitely give them another go at some point because I really like the concept and goods but... It definitely makes...

The food at this location is delicious, no question. The customer service is the worst. Personally, I have worked in the restaurant industry. Because they know the food is good (it is) they destroy it with its customer service. I have been there several times in hope that this service would have had improved.

The last visit (the LAST VISIT) I went in early, not realizing it was still not open. I apologized for not knowing and then asked, can I place an order now and pick it up when you feel it is ok. They declined. I own my own business and actually promoted them. I did not mention this but was soo disappointed. They have a great product but, they are missing the second half.

I personally do not like sending negative feedback. After 5 times experiencing the same thing I felt it is important for others to know. This small adjustment will make great things.

I will no longer promote or unfortunately visit your locations.

For the public, if you have patience (seriously), they do have good food. But I would not take advice from them when it comes to customer service.

I hope for others to have a...

Spoiler: If you don't want to wait to long to try the noodles here, visit the restaurant early lunch time on the weekend ;) Second time in Berlin trying some hand-pulled noodles and these here are just perfect. We intended to eat for dinner first, but considering the big queue we went on a Saturday for early lunch (12:30) and got immediately seated inside. The service is super attentive and quick. Although the service is quick, it did not feel rushing. In a way it is just fair to have people eat and leave soon, so that other costumers get the chance to try this delicous food. After ordering it took 1 minute to get the drinks and 5 mins to get the biang biang noodles beef, wen cheng lamb, fried chicken bao and cucumber salad. The noodle dishes are served hot and nicely seasoned. As others said, the noodles are just amazing, nothing to add here. My favorite dish were the biang biang noodles which are a little bit spicy (beginner level). The seasoning and spiciness just meet my personal taste. Overall it was a great experience! Definelty a place where I will take my friends to :)

Let me start with the things I really liked. 1. Flavour was amazing. Really yummy food. 2. Service was amazingly friendly and fast 3. All meat dishes have been cooked well. Beef was tender yet juicy. Will def return to this place. However, there are reasons why I am not giving 4-5 stars. 1. This is the biggest issue. The noodles were too thick. I am not talking about the end bits, I am talking about the entire noodle. It wasn’t stretched properly. We have eaten really well stretched Biang Biang noodles in the past, but these noodles require some work. 2. Service was very chaotic. Everyone is super nice, but there is no process for serving tables. My order wasn’t even put in the system. If I would have been a bad human, I would have lied to not pay the full price. It’s also bad customer experience if you need to remember all the items you have ordered to make sure you are not ripping off the restaurant. As they are new, I would prob wait a bit and see if they sort themselves out. Hope they put some more work into the noodles.
