Co Do Hue — Restaurant in Berlin

First, I had very good impression because of the name of the restaurant : Co do hue, meaning the ancien capital Hue. The Imperial city of Hue was once Vietnam 's capital. I had the impression that the food must be authentic and I WAS TOTALLY RIGHT !!

I’ve tried the Banh Bèo, usually it is sold separately, but here you can have it in small dishes, it’s quite rare to find it in Europe !

You can customize your own board, for example you can ask for 3.a + 4.b + 5.a (have a look at the menu)

The soups were delicious !! I would highly recommend the banh canh ! The price is quite good taking account the quality

The service was very good and fast ! The staff was very welcoming, they speak German, English and Vietnamese so as a tourist you must find a commun language!

We found this restaurant because we were looking for the Charlottenburg palace, so if you plan to go there, you have to try this restaurant which is 20min walking...

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! I have never seen such irresponsible staff in any restaurant before!! IF YOU ARE A VEGETARIAN / VEGAN, DO NOT RISK AND GO TO THIS PLACE!! This is the second time again, that I was served a non-veg dish (beef) when I very very specifically requested them for the vegetarian version. VERY authentic Vietnamese food in Berlin!!! I am in Berlin occasionally for work and having my stomach filled with these WONDERFUL FOOD is a MUST EVERY TIME! Most of the Vietnamese restaurants in Berlin serve food that’s either from northern or southern part of Vietnamese. But this restaurant also serve food that’s from the middle part of Vietnamese and they always deliver the best, authentic food from there! We are just delighted to have discovered this gem in the city!...
