First time we came to this wonderful restaurant was eight years ago straight from the old Tegel airport exactly on Christmas day! Since everything else was closed that day to our big surprise and huge relief this family owned restaurant was open, welcoming and soon it became by far our favorite restaurant in Berlin! Don't be fooled by the name. In addition to a huge selection of beers they serve some of the nicest and most delicious Berliner food dishes in town! The staff is always super nice including the owner, manager and the chefs. It is always a pleasure to see them everytime we are in town. This year we booked and had the Christmas dinner there again. Not one day but three days in a row! The traditional duck and goose is simply irresistible and the best me and my wife ever had! We highly recommend this place either for a casual lunch or dinner or for more festive occasions and small parties or birthdays! I wish I could give it six stars!! P.S. Very helpful the bilingual menu both in German and English especially helpful for us...

The food here has always been very good and I'm happy to say it's even better now. I had the breaded pork schnitzel with warm potato salad. My wife had the Ku'damm Burger with fries. Both dishes were great. They do an excellent Schnitzel, crispy outside, not greasy at all and the meat is tender and delicious. A real stand out was the potato salad. It was freshly made in-house and delicious.
My wife's burger and fries were also top. Prices are a bit higher than before, but this place is still an excellent value considering the large portions, professional service and delicious food. Welcome back Haus der 100 Biere and keep up the good work!...
Read moreThe proper response to "Do you have an IPA?" is "Yes" in a place called "House of 100 Beers". If you don't know what an IPA is, just say so, but don't say "No" when the beer is on the menu. The beer was good but the waitress arrogant and she made me wait 8 minutes for the beer at the table.
I admit they were busy, and she probably tired after a long day, but then it's a mistake of management for not having enough people on the job.
One of the guests found it apropriate to floss his teeth in front of everyone after his meal. Let's just say this is not my kind of place...
Hopefully this place is better than my first imppression...
