Boisterous, informal Italian restaurant directly on the Kudamm, popular with Italians and locals alike. The place specializes in pizzas — all of them good - but also offers a selection of pastas and other dishes, mostly from the Rome region, such as Pollo a La Romana and Caccio e Pepe. The service is warm but chaotic, perhaps distracted, in a fun way, crewed entirely by Italians. Family and pet friendly. The place is loud, and the atmosphere, if we can call it that, is a notch above a cafeteria, so probably not a choice for that romantic dinner. Go. Eat. Get out. All the while taking in the bustle. We happened to stroll by around midnight and wondered if it was possible to still get some pizzas. Some reluctance at first, but when they figured out I can speak some Italian (Italian wife...) it was no problem.
It helped that two of the staff were from Bari and one of us is a big fan of the Swedish soccer player Klas Ingesson, who is a bit of a demi God in Bari. And when we found out that one of the staff was from Shkoder in Albania, the deal was sealed. Me and the Mrs have been to Shkoder with our albanian friend, so we were treated like family.
Really nice guys and good atmosphere if you just try a little. Wonderful Italian (not Turkish!) pizzas, just as it should be. I will definitely...

AKTUALISIERUNG August 2025: weitere preisliche Verschlechterung für die Kunden: Letztes Jahr bekam man den Wein 0,2 für den Preis ANNÄHERND wie heute für 0,2 !
Das kleine (!) Bier kostet jetzt satte 4,10 ! Deutliche Verteuerung!
DER LADEN boomt - Er verdient Millionen im Jahr - das gönnt man den netten Italienern - Das Teuererwerden war also nicht nötig! Und das ist nicht kundenfreundlich!
Und einen Schnaps vom Hause wir früher gibt es wohl nur noch, wenn man richtig Geld dort läßt.
Leider nur noch 1 Punkt. SCHADE!
update: Sommer 2024: Verschlechterung macht sich bemerkbar! Die Pizza war trocken wie vorher nie, an Käse wurde extrem gespart! Und eine Schnaps wie sonst immer wird auch nicht mehr serviert. Preis - Leistung ist nicht mehr gegeben wie noch vor 1/2 Jahr. Bitte zurück zum alten Standard, der Kunde merkt das alles! Nett sind die Kellner aber immer noch. Sommer 2023: Sehr netter, offensichtlich echter Italiener, nicht wie so üblich arabisch oder ähnlich, freundlich, schnell und eine gute Küche zu angemessenen Preisen.
Einen Punkt Abzug allerdings erlaube ich mir, obwohl ich der netten Pizzeria nicht schaden möchte, aber zum wiederholten Mal war die Pizza zwar groß und schmackhaft und sogar auf jedem Tisch großzügig scharfes Olivenöl vorhanden, aber mit dem Käse wird doch zu sehr gespart!
Dadurch ist die Pizza etwas trockener als woanders, gut mit dem Olivenöl kann man sie sich denn etwas saftiger gesund versehen.
Und zu jedem Essen gibt es einzeln verpacktes frisches knuspriges Weißbrot.
Der Salat ist reichhaltig und sogar 0,1 Weine gestattet dieses Restaurant zu trinken, wenn man nicht so viel Alkohol trinken möchte.
Ansonsten eine positive Pizzeria mitten auf dem berühmten kurfürstendamm im Haus des berühmten Filmproduzenten...
